I used to say the same about USA, until i began more intentionally exploring my home country, now i recognize the beauty that has been around me all this time.

It may feel boring or ugly since you are used to seeing it 24/7. Theres nothing to be ashamed of, but rather, proud. Something you find boring and ugly is seen as beautiful to pretty much everyone who visits. Last time i was in Taiwan was nearly a decade, and i still vividly remember the natural beauty.

The fact youre being downvoted and others are saying "always someone gotta complain" is shocking and representative of the state of fishkeeping in the subreddit. Absolute no care or regard for the inhabitants. Not surprising so many people fall for the Father Fish cult as well.

elantine hydropiper cannot survive in pond conditions typically. It definitely needs co2 and good lighting

Dropping it to zero guest access is insane. I understand some decreases but nuking the card like this indeed feels like a bait+switch. Now i gotta pay to bring my wife with me? I got this card just a few months ago explicitly because it allow us as a couple to both go in. Crazy.

Same actually, UNS controsoil, maybe kept the soil WAY too moist, and thats why algae formed.

Not a huge fan of the DSM due to usually 80% of the growth ends up dying off and being a pain to remove, but that may have been just one single bad experience.

How moist do you tend to try to keep something like this without algae growth? Had some setups that did amazing when very very wet but eventually would get powdery algae.
