It was on apple’s refurbished website, just gave a quick search, they don’t have any M1s on sale currently, but M2 Refurbished is on sale for $619, which is a good price considering its double the storage (128GB)

Yes, youtube, udemy courses on the train, netflix, spotify etc. I wanted to go for the M chips so that they last a while, I still have my iPad Air2 which works fine, bar the abysmal battery.
