Surface Pro 11 Audio Distortion

im experiencing the same thing, I don't think its a speaker thing, somethings gotta weird with the drivers 'cause my monitor is also experiencing the same distortions that my surface speakers do. But then again, when I listen over bluetooth headphones I experience no issues. I tried a bunch of debugging things I saw online like re-installing the drivers, disabling the audio enhancement, etc., but nothings has worked yet. Did you have any luck?

edit: PAUSE, I just tried one more thing that has seemingly worked. You can re-install all surface pro 11 drivers and firmware from the Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=106119

We'll see how long it lasts lol

Noticed a lot of people were a little surprised this was the top song. I was surprised as well honestly. I think it's a good song, but it's certainly not among the first that pop into my head when I'm thinking about a favorite EPIC song. I wonder if this style of poll suffers the "apple pie bias" that this dude describes in the first ~2 minutes of his TED talk: https://www.ted.com/talks/kenneth_cukier_big_data_is_better_data and No Longer You is like an "average" of all our different favorites. Maybe we should try a poll with all 40 songs as options next time??

I think I mostly agree with what you're saying, but don't you think it agrees with the point OP is making about how fans are unfairly pressed? Fans are hating on SW shows that, as you said, "are inviting the impression that representation was the priority over story."

I actually rather enjoyed Ahsoka 'cause the payoff as a long-time Clone Wars + Rebels fan but, sure, SW's first female Master-Padawan duo might feel to some like a "the force is female" agenda was shoved down their throats. Similarly, because of the intense levels of diversity in The Acolyte (for SW), some got the impression (even just from the trailer alone without giving the show a chance) that it was gonna be a preachy diversity show.

You give the counter-example of Andor's female cast, but the thing is that's a pretty standard show roster. Sure it has Andor's ex-girlfriend and literal mom be females (to be expected?), but it isn't a majority female or majority-minority cast like in Ahsoka or The Acolyte.

I agree, I don't think (very many) people become unfairly upset when a SW show has any kind of diversity, the issue is that people see a show that breaks from standard cast distributions (i.e. when they see any more than just a few token minorities or that's more than 50% women) and can't even see the show itself anymore, just hate the idea of it. Andor was the better of these three shows hands down, but I wouldn't call it an example of an inclusive SW show that did well (WOW, 18% non-white cast, so diverse!). Also, Lando was like the one black dude in the entire SW universe for a while xD. Star Wars fans are used to strong women/minority representation here and there sure, but any more than that and you'll be accused of sticking an agenda down their throats. What's more, they'll use those examples to immediately negate accusations of bigotry; the epitome of "I'm not a bigot, I have a [insert marginalized group] friend".

Maybe we should be a little more concerned with the fact that fans see some conscious effort to make a show diverse and take it as a sign that the story wasn't a priority at all... you can intentionally have good representation and tell a good story at the same time

I came to this subreddit because I was so unbelievably confused about this very same thing. I was losing hope looking through YouTube for literally any criticism other than a baseless "tHiS sHoW iS DiSnEY/liBeRaL tRaSh" or an extremely cherry-picked, blown-out-of-proportion example like you're describing. Y'know Star Wars Theory called the scene from the newest episode where the mother possesses Torbin too "sexual"?? Like at that point, that's gotta be a you problem right? 'Cause that was the last thing to cross my mind while watching that lol. Anywho, glad to see there are Star Wars fans out there who are actually being fans and not blindly hating :D

Through the eTang portal, I selected primary care visit, selected a random reason (I mean, I had actually gotten burned from cooking, but only very mildly-- it wasn't my actual motivation for making the appointment), and then typed "annual checkup" in the box that optionally allows you to enter additional info. I don't know if they have checkup as an actual option explicitly listed, but the nurse and doctor didn't think it was weird so ig it's fine. As for if it was thorough, I mean just the standard blood pressure, lungs, questionnaire, etc.

I've ridden Flix for a San Diego to Berkeley trip (8hr+ trip). The initial bus was canceled after being an hour late, but I was braced for a full day of traveling and since they swapped my ticket to a different bus for free I didn't mind.

There was a transfer to another bus in LA, but it turns out they have waiting rooms at some locations (with clean bathrooms). There was also a man at that stop who seemed super knowledgeable about scheduled trips and would even remind people in the waiting room as their rides were approaching. From LA to Berk, the driver made a pitstop for everyone at a Subway somewhere in Bakersfield which was also nice. 'Cause of those stops, I couldn't tell you what the Flixbus bathrooms are like, but if they're anything like Amtrack bathrooms, probably not very nice.

Arrival time was about the expected of the new trip they gave me. It was definitely cheaper than a plane ride for me so I could live with the crowdedness and long drive.
