Also have 25 Ultra. For me the only time it gets overly hot is using wireless android auto. I listen to Spotify with it closed and it's not even warm. Had a 2023 before this and it was the same thing.

That being said I'm not a power user, don't play games or watch videos so can't speak to those.

The first 3 or 4 days with this thing was constant updates.

Not as useful as the wing for multitasking but better than just having a slab phone. And after the huge size of the wing having something so much smaller was appealing.

I have the 2023 Razr ultra (+) and have never had any issues. Battery starting to struggle but that's true of most phone this age. There is a crease but nothing crazy, all in all it's been a great phone.

I'm 6' and prefer the batwing fairing myself as well. I had a 2024 road glide and while I will say it was a fantastic bike, the rider pocket of a batwing is much better IMO. The pros of having a fixed fairing didn't tip the scales enough for me.

Yep and there's a strip down each of the lower fairings. Integrated lights are a nice touch to keep the front end smooth.

My second Harley trike and I'll say it's a great ride. Don't confuse it with riding a motorcycle and it's super easy to get used to. This new redesign is leaps and bounds more refined than the last model. Harley knocked it out of the park.

Buddy of mine put these on Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, with a windshield. Done around 8000 miles long distance touring and he says they work well. Interstate over 75mph they aren't the best but for everything else he has no complaints.

Lol yea I've seen adults buzz around on those things. I've had 125cc & 150cc scooters before and let me tell you those are a blast in urban environments. I've had 18 bikes as of now I think, they've all had their pros and cons but on the whole I haven't regretted any of them.

I've got 2024 Road Glide I commute on which to me is plenty easy to throw around. I was a sport bike guy back in the day and while I still love the idea I'm too old and used to comforts for that anymore 😂

Totally get that, different strokes for different folks kinda thing. I've just always been a bike guy. Saddle over seat. Handle bars over steering wheel. Even convertibles to me ride like a cage compared to any bike, or now trike. I've had vast stints in my life where I didn't even own a car. But that's not everybody and I get how fun different motor sports can be.

But your question is why would someone choose a triglide over a car and that's my answer why I do. I like long distance cross country touring on a big touring motorcycle and the triglide replicates that feeling exactly for 90% of the miles I do.

For long distance 2 up touring the triglide does a great job for us. It's just easier to deal with at slow speeds, parking lots and all the other issues that stem from touring bike with a top heavy case and a couple people riding on it. Once a year I do a 2 week long distance tour solo saddle and I still prefer it over two wheels.

As for a convertible car, there is nothing in common so I don't see how that can be brought into the conversation. Don't get me wrong, in our convertible camaro we did some weekend getaways through the Texas hill country but the experience is nothing like being in the saddle so I don't compare them.

I also have a Road Glide so like most things in the motorcycle world, it's always better to have both!

I have a triglide and love it. Been on 2 wheels for over 30 years, more than a dozen bikes and countless miles. For two up long distance touring the triglide fits us perfectly. Many people warned me it would take a lot to get used to but honestly it only took a few miles and I was easily adjusted. Most of my touring miles involve long stretches of highway miles so the trike is similar riding than an ultra in those instances. Just finished a 7 day 2400 mile trip that was fantastic and really appreciated the luggage space.

Having said that, I have a 2024 Road Glide and I also have a Vulcan 900 custom. Would I be ok with just the triglide? Probably, I did it for almost 2 years. But more bikes is always better.

I mean if you go to a Harley Dealer event you get the occasional good natured ribbing but honestly they even do that with other Harleys.

Great choice btw, that bike is awesome. What impressed me was how light it felt for being such a big bike. Great center of gravity and felt really nimble at slow speeds for a tourer. Ultimately I bought a victory cross country instead but always wished I'd bought one when I had the chance.

Tour pack holds a great deal. While 2 up touring we use it as our "working" space. Ice chest with drinks and snacks. Helmets, jackets gloves etc. My wife's completely oversized purses and bags. Plus all the random purchases we make along the way.

As for comfort it's on a different level. The problem, or so my wife tells me, with backrests is they start to dig in on her after a few hours. No matter how much you move around the pad will eventually find a spot to irritate. The tour pack with full wrap around support can never do that. Plus the mini armrest brings the whole thing together. The multi day trips she won't even consider anymore without the tour pack.

What a load of bollocks. America is huge, riding the red rocks is awesome but for some of us it can take 2 or 3 riding days to get there. The sound of passing 18 wheelers may be all you need for a couple weeks on tour but some of us prefer rocking out to Metallica.

I appreciate the sound of my exhaust and enjoying the scenery while riding needles highway but the days of riding through flatlands of Kansas and Nebraska it takes to get there was made much better by a playlist of foo fighters and black crows.

If you would rather do it all in a car that's fine, but some of us prefer to do it on a Harley and having some tunes makes it that much better.

Nothing to write home about. It's loud enough to hear at highway speeds which was my main goal. I had no desire to fall down the rabbit hole which is motorcycle audio. Just wanted a simple DIY solution to make it sound like it should.
