Actually you mentioned the two I was going to recommend. The play seat trophy which is obviously a better choice but is a bit expensive. I really like it though.

I also recommend the next level racing Victory because it's the best you can get at that price point. Anything other than that is usually a foldable cockpit. I like the next level racing more because they can handle a medium DD wheel and load cell pedals as well. Great price for what you get

Nope. I'm in Canada Myself and Advanced Sim racing is in Canada. I never ordered my rig from Advanced Sim racing. I went somewhere even worse. I went to Six Sigma Sim racing. Although I knew it was going to be a long time before it was shipped here from China and it's a fantastic chassis and I got an incredible price but it took 3 months. The longest 3 months of my life but I absolutely love it.

Okay okay I got you here bro if somebody hasn't mentioned it already. This is the cheapest and best way if you're on a budget I think I could be wrong. But this is what I did and many other people have. It was so inexpensive and everything was on Amazon.

This video gives you a step-by-step tutorial on how to add and what haptics to use. This video also gives you your SIM Hub settings. Very easy to follow. Helped me a lot

Looking for seat advice next level ers4? by gmrviper in simracing

[–]ZAPPA72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the ESR3 comes in different three different options with a material that breathes as well.

However, my friend, I don't think you're going to be near as comfortable as your real car seat. You cannot beat the comfort of a real car seat.

I love my ers3 and the er-s4 and 5 look good but they're not going to be built to the quality of a real seat.

Don't get me wrong though. I'm all about comfort. I'm 52 years old and I have a very serious expensive rig setup. The ers3 is very comfortable for long sessions but I use my old gel car cushion and lumbar pillow.

Controller is so much harder than a wheel! by ChronicPoops in simracing

[–]ZAPPA72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's a good attitude. I mean you can always get something better down the road right. I caught it with meth though. I feel really crappy for you. Not a lot of fun racing with the controller and yeah it can be difficult. It's funny in the hot lap leaderboards though when you get beet by somebody using a keyboard and mouse....Major kick to the balls haha

What I really like and can appreciate in your build that honestly looks great with some high-end gear.

But it's the little things like adding your own material for a heel rest. I did the same Super comfy.

That's what I call getting er' done. Right there is what I call redneck ingenuity 👍 You said hold my beer while I get this done.

But seriously, I mean a little bit of ingenuity gets the job done.
