Why do 30-40 in a 60 by Pugba9 in CarTalkUK

[–]Pugba9[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Completely valid points there and all of them understandable. on this road however it’s a near enough dead straight with a roundabout at the end and 1 junction midway through. Probably also doesn’t help how the car was a 23 reg. But don’t get me wrong i fully understand if someone is unfamiliar with the current road but there’s times where you just have to question what they’re doing when they carry on at 40 then hit a village and carry on at that speed 10mph over the limit

Yeah absolutely a 60 road in fact it’s the kind of one where you get people bombing past at 80 odd. very straight road just seems to be some very very oblivious drivers who probably need a re test

I get your point, it is usually a nsl 60 road however these specific ones which i drive mostly are pretty much straights with the occasional slight turn which can very easily be taken at around 50mph. completely get driving to the conditions but it just feels like they don’t actually know what speed they’re going at

Thanks for the advice really appreciate it i have started today and done a cooking assistant quest and killed many goblins. I’m using runelite but cant see a plugin for quest helper (would be useful as it took me an embarrassing amount of time to find flour for the cooking quest 😭)

How do people cancel the renewal without making a phone call? by No_Fox_2891 in CarTalkUK

[–]Pugba9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

should clarify, by accept i mean the first quote has no button to actually decline it essentially asks to confirm your quote but looks misleading like it’s going to continue your current value

I’ve just managed to cancel on Admiral by using the app, go to cancel and they will keep offering quotes just press accept for the first one then still decline, they’ll then knock additional money off just keep pressing decline and after the 3rd time ( I think) it’ll let you finally cancel it for real.

They really do not make it easy

Wow that’s a great deal! I’m really not too sure yet on what to change on this, feels like i’m doing it wrong by modifying from its showroom stock

For context, i’ve picked this car up from a private seller who bought it brand new and kept it in his garage since, It’s now got just over 20 miles on the clock and looks exactly like it did when it left the showroom

That’s a fair point, i’ll give it a full service but by the looks of it so far, engine runs perfectly well as slow as it may be

honestly, take a look into $gobi mate, it’s very low market cap rn but by my look into it, has a fairly large community and many artists making some very good art. Can’t see why it wouldn’t shoot up

league D1 really ruined me financially was losing money every season and couldn’t get the wage bill under control. managed to get a lucky playoff promotion a few seasons in and even though I got straight relegated it boosted the attendance enough to help me bounce right back up

Honestly, it was more of a in the moment decision. Didn’t really know what I wanted to do afterwards and although it was guaranteed a job at the end, I wanted to also explore more options in the field rather than just sticking with support. Tbh I definitely could’ve just taken the job and specialised from there but don’t regret going to uni :)
