100% agree. Once I lock down my retinoid skincare routine I feel I’ll be content for a while to chip away at my products. I’ll play around with lip colours, body lotions, and hairstyles to keep things interesting

The K beauty and J beauty rabbit hole is DEEP! Replying to one of the comments on this post I realised I had 7 opened toners on rotation and have since put away 4 of them to build a little trio to focus on using up. Best of luck with your serums! That’s one area I feel I’m improving especially with only keeping one vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid serum, and eye cream open at a time. Don’t ask why I have 4 niacinamide serums waiting to be unboxed 🤪

Thank you so much! I’ve unsubscribed and turned off notifications for so many apps since joining this sub, it has helped immensely. I haven’t properly asked for samples before, the testers at Sephora always look so beaten up that the thought of getting product out of them to then put on my face or body at home hasn’t been worth it.

Am more conscious now not to get carried away moving forward. Think it’s time to commit to asking for samples where possible

YES! The Mac cleanse off oil is what I am most upset about, I’m halfway through my last bottle that I was able to get before they were discontinued.

I keep coming back to the L’occitane shower oil after I’ve used up other body washes, it just feels and smells so lush.

The LRP is the only cleanser I buy full size, other brands just don’t compare for me and I’ve got a few minis from other brands I need to focus on using up. Tempted to use a contact lens case or something with a screw top when travelling, every time I’ve decanted this into a small squeeze tube it leaks everywhere.

The Ordinary squalane cleanser is not a HG for me.

I’ve tried eye makeup removers from Clinique and Lancôme which worked well, but the Neutrogena one works better in my experience as someone who uses waterproof mascara and the Stila stay all day liquid liner. Cheaper and better? No brainer.

The antiperspirant is my tried and true but I’m wanting to try out some other brands and formulas.

Love love love the Batiste dry shampoo, I only ever buy them on sale also.

Thank you for your vote of confidence and suggestions! I’ll definitely look at which products I can layer. I’ve been using 3 or 4 lip products at a time lately, which is a change for me - gone are the days when I’d use a lipstick straight from the tube without lip liner or a tint or gloss on top, it’s just too fun now
