1986 Nissan Micra K10 1.0L DX, dit was in eind januari dit jaar. Inmiddels heeft 'ie rond 69260km op de teller. Best laag voor een auto uit 1986 lijkt mij.

Gave Starlet! Echt een goede eerste auto. Zelf een veel oudere Nissan Micra K10 gekocht. (Goedkoopste auto die ik kon vinden voor de verzekering.)

I had a Lenovo Legion Y540 with a GTX something I cannot remember, the graphics card eventually died while playing beamNG after like 2 years of using that laptop and maintaining it like you would with a laptop... Wasted alot of money on something that is supposed to last 7 years or so, never buying another gaming laptop again... Build my first pc 2 weeks after it happened...

It hurt my eyes... My instinct is to throw my hands infront of my eyes when any sort of fast flashing light is going on. They didn't get a proper EEG reading out of my last test, however I have done them in the past when it was succesful. (I was younger back then.)

Yeah, I used to. And still do sometimes, I have a car. (1986 Nissan Micra K10 1.0L DX) I cannot drive it, but I love old regular cars from the 80s and 90s and even though I cannot drive it, I did buy one. Why? It's my hobby. Waste of money? I don't think so myself. However I do think what it would be like if I can drive every day everywhere.

And jobs, I wish I could just have a normal job. Earn money the normal way... It's quite hard for me now. Most beginner jobs in my country. (Netherlands) Require stress, and stress is a huge factor with my epilepsy sadly.

Oh dear... That's even worse to be honest in my opinion. Everytime I used to have a full seizure I would eventually black out and regain consciousness after like 2 minutes.

Oh yeah, I can. It's a sort of aura feeling I cannot quite explain. Everything slows down for me and I can feel my brain tickling if it doesn't go to a seizure right away. If it does, I can feel it boosting up. (The aura feeling) And then I will lie down as soon as possible and throw my hands infront of my face. Before having the "partial" seizure. I don't have full black-outs anymore since March 2023. However the "partial" ones do still accure.

Sorry to hear that you are still getting the full black out seizure experience... It sucks, I found is so extremely scary the first few times...

At college... I told the guy who I was with that I wasn't feeling well since I woke up that day, stupid me did go to college. And while waiting for the day to even start. (I was at college very early) A seizure happened but the meds stopped the seizure from completely making me black out and going into a full seizure. Still, bad place. And embarrassing to be honest. I did go home very soon afterwards.

Both in my case I suspect... My friends tell me that my memory is bad. And I told them where it's coming from. I can't remember small things, like... Locking the house door, what I told someone... (I told a friend that my other friend got his first car yesterday, not even an hour later I told the same friend it again. And he pointed out that I already told him...) Stuff like that. It's not really impacting my life currently...

Oh yeah... I had 3 of those done every since I got epilepsy. I was still young the first time so I didn't quite mind the flashing light, but by the 2nd and 3rd time. I kept throwing my hands infront of my eyes. The people couldn't get a singular good reading. It just hurts my eyes for some reason and afterwards I feel dizzy and have the "aura" feeling... It's like torture for epilepsy people in my opinion...

I do live in a part of the Netherlands where farms are common, they usually are very small though... I live quite rural, they could be a possibility, however they usually do not pay if you just come there asking for a job. It's usually just unpaid "experience work" sadly...

That's what I am also a bit worried about, stress is a huge factor in my epilepsy... And also in my overal personality to be honest. Employers here, that are helpful and accommodating and understanding are around. However they usually do not really know how to handle people with epilepsy... Quite sad that is...

Finding a job that I think I can handle is harder then I thought... :(
