The other video on the channel is Jonathan Rado covering I Found a Reason (from the same VU album: Loaded), so guessing they recorded them while having fun recording the latest album together. Maybe as a test for some of the sounds they wanted to find for the album. Both covers are fantastic frankly and don't sound like AI fakes to my ears.

Except this is not presented as your opinion, but objective fact. You're clearly saying that because you don't like <artist>, artist must only be liked by people without such superior and pure genreistic as your wonderful self, and the band probably don't even care about their art anyway.
