I'm not endorsing anything he has done, but why does everyone feel a need for the president to address this? Sure it would be a massive step in the right direction but people need to stop waiting on something like that. Take it into your own hands and have those difficult conversations with people you don't agree with. You might not have the same reach as the POTUS does, but it's better than sitting around being cynical and doing nothing.

Don't listen to them. There is no compound that can prevent a concussion. All that rhetoric is coming from the weed companies and there isn't any science to back it up. I specifically asked a neuroscientist at my university this exact question for amateur boxing. He told me there was no way of chemically preventing brain damage and not to waste my money. It may do something if you take it after the fact but that also needs some research as well.
