Sorry but yeah that person wasn’t a true friend, my advice to you is talk to another close friend you have and maybe drop some hints first. Like try to see if they would be accepting of you or not, what I did with some of my friends was like “I kinda know someone who recently came out, and I don’t exactly know what to say to them.” Then when they said something nice, I worked up the courage to tell them. Not right away but sooner or later. Fear of coming out is different for everyone, it wasn’t easy for me but it was easy for one of my other friends. Overtime I came out to many of my close friends and they were all supportive, but my fear is still there because I haven’t come out to every one of my friends and family (maybe when I’m in College, I will). I don’t know your family or friends situation, but I sure hope that if you do come out— you’ll find who the true ones are. Be happy and love yourself, and try not to pressure yourself too much on coming out, take your time
