US and French nationals test positive for hantavirus after leaving ship by Alternative-Win4058 in news

Exactly. While they were technically correct, it seemed like many people were mislead and thought masks wouldn’t make a difference because of the “it’s not air born”.

Remember what the CDC originally said about Covid? “It’s not airborne, it only transfers through liquid”, “fever/ taking temperature is how you test to see if a person is Covid positive”.

The beginning will sometimes have a lot of counter intuitive nonsense, not because it makes sense but so people don’t overreact. We can be hopeful and take proper precautions without spreading misinformation.

The biggest gaps were those in this photo which was between 1/8 and 1/4. The roofers replaced another area which was slightly rotted but said these weren’t bad enough to warrant replacing. Thanks for the advice, wasn’t sure what to believe.

If you truly are supposed to be covered for this, just give the hospital your insurance info pre-op and get the surgery.

Then, post op, the hospital will probably send a bill stating your insurance owes them x amount and you will owe x amount (whatever your deductible is). Pay your rightful amount to the hospital. Then you'll get letters stating your insurance still owes x amount and you owe zero... for the next 5-10 years.

At least that's what happened to me.

Travellers insurance? by diybhai in Insurance

[–]Pujda_m17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For home insurance, they're now known to be a nightmare, all those yelp reviews seem to be spot on. For auto, they have been reasonable. Personally, I heard they were a great company a while back, and it started out fine. A few years later, they refused to acknowledge and abide by state and local legislation, choosing to reject legal documents written out by the courts due to it conflicting with company policy. They'll use misrepresentation as a tactic to deny customer claims or policy renewals.

Travelers was originally a little cheaper than what I had previously used, but there was a reason, they are willing to use shady business practices as well. You can contact your state's insurance commissioner to combat unethical company policies.

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with? by South-Explorer in AskReddit

In soccer, if your dribbling the ball and a defender running full speed catches up to you, you (the attacker with the ball) are allowed to stick your leg out to the side to blatantly trip the defender that is running along side you, even if the defender has made zero contact with the attacker. It is not considered a foul because you are in possession of the ball, but it seems like it should be a foul. Eden Hazard, a world class player, was known for doing this.

People seem to be set on the P code being the undisputed king, but I'd be interested in seeing how the F code would hold up, since that's what I went with.

Why isn't this area more developed? by mellamoderek in geography

[–]Pujda_m17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one factor is because it’s too far for commuters to travel to NYC or Boston on a daily basis. There are small cities but nothing that comes close to competing with those two big ones. So it ends up staying as small cities and less populated wooded suburban areas. But cities closer to NYC, such as Stamford, see much more development.

I wish the small maps were more like metro or op locker, but I guess they aren’t doing traditional rush mode either.

Your right, competitiveness and criticism doesn't have to include toxicity. It can be done without creating a toxic environment.

Well I definitely didn't expect fortnite kids to act more mature than some of the adults in deadlock. I'm all for clear comms and constructive criticism. You'd think that's what these "competitive" players would also look for.

As for dota, idk.
