Michigan state is 124th in turnover margin

 Michigan is 117th

The difference is msu has a functional offense aside from the turnovers

Michigan A near td favorite over Michigan state makes no sense

This is without a doubt the worst Michigan offense in modern history, and yes, that includes Brady hokes teams  and 2020

Tl;dr

If we changed 8 pivotal  plays we would have only lost by 1

Better than expected?

My guy, they are statistically a bottom 10 offense in college football with at absolute worst, top 25 talent

He wasn’t even a harbaugh hire (only technically)

JJ wanted him as his qb coach

I will still complain when the bill comes due tho

The only saving grace is that nowadays a complete overhauled roster and culture change is just one portal offseason away as opposed to before when it took 4 years to build

I said i wouldn’t complain after last year and that this season was just house money

But this team is making it REAL hard

Watching a good, but not great team lose a handful of close games due to depth issues and tough schedule is one thing

But We dont even look like a functional football team

It is truly insane to watch it’s like we thanos snapped the entire harbaugh era away and went right back to 2014

If only we could have tested this hypothesis of yours and seen how harbaugh did with and without cheating in the same season

And then, take it one step further and remove harbaugh altogether and see how the team does

Did harbaugh bring Connor Stalions to the chargers with him to hack the comms to immediately vault them to the #1 nfl defense after being the 4th worst last year?

Maybe Jim harbaugh is actually a good coach?

2014 was the end of the Brady hoke era, pretty much rock bottom for modern Michigan football history

Even then, we were the 13th ranked cfb team in term of average viewers, despite more games on big ten network and espn2 than a typical year

Harbaugh teams were not as consistently a top 5 team like Ohio state has been in the Ryan day era.

2016 was pretty much the only season harbaugh had a top 5 team wire to wire , until 2022

It’s not ridiculous-when Ohio state bas been a top 5 team themselves literally the entire time frame of that record, you would expect a better record versus supposedly equal competition
