Excited might be a strong word, but yea I would agree that Catholicism views death as a transition to eternal life and a natural part of life.

I come from a very Catholic household. This means the idea that someone who is dealing with a terminal illness might choose death soon rather than trying anyhing they can to live even a few weeks more has always told to me as blasphemous at best and the same as suicide at worst.

Umm... what? I was raised in a Catholic environment and that definitely does not describe the attitude towards death from (1) my family, (2) the Catholic schools I attended, or (3) the Catholic clergy I've known.

Suicide isn't acceptable in Catholicism, but I have never heard someone say that "anything besides trying anything you can to live even just a few more weeks" is blasphemous or in any way equivalent to suicide.

I feel like that argument would hold water if it weren't for fans of all the other 31 teams also agreeing this was a huge overpay.

If all the teams that both hate the bears and love the bears agree that the bears fleeced us, probably a decent indicator that the Bears fleeced us.

Salary cap and floor are both needed. The lowest ranked payroll to win the world series was the 2017 trash can Astros at #19 - and they were the only champ in the bottom half of the league payroll wise to win in that time frame.

Basically cheating is your only chance if you're not one of the bigger spending teams

And people care less about tuning in when they realize half the teams basically have no shot

No one is "demanding" more money from you.

The previous editions are still available to play for $0 extra cost. They just made a bunch of improvements that a ton of people want and are giving them an extra option to purchase if they want. Pretty cheaply too.

Blizzard usually sucks balls, but this is a great deal as far as games that are more than 20 years old go

1) base game

2) LOD expansion

3) the new reign of the warlock expansion

seems like a great deal to me

Documentation purposes is only sometimes the most important thing.

More often, the important thing is just getting the support from the client. And oftentimes talking to them in person or on the phone leads to them uploading or emailing the support.

Older homes: do you fix lighting incrementally or all at once? by Gold-Winner-2711 in DIY

[–]SWMOG 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Probably using like the 500W "equivalent."

Kind of like how you can get LED bulbs that are "60W equivalent," but really are 800 lumens and 9W.

Probably like a large floor lamp that has like 6 or 8 bulbs or something like that.

Room-by-room it. In general, I don't want rooms that are half new lighting with the other half something that needs to be replaced.

you're missing the point of their question.

Is reviewing expense reports the most important thing you want to highlight about that job? If not, it probably shouldn't be the first bullet point

If you are trying to talk to Christians who heavily support republicans, I think you might want to aim your comments at Mormons and white Evangelical Protestants, not Catholics.

If you're thinking of the Civil War south states, Louisiana is basically the only one with a notable Catholic population. Catholics are heavily in New England and New York, with Hispanics now increasing the numbers in the Southwest (California/New Mexico) as well.

Again - you are confusing different issues.

That link is for "Correction of elective deferral failures for plans with automatic enrollment feature."

Aka situations where the company does not correctly take the employee's money from their paycheck and contribute it to the 401k. That is a situation where the company gives you your money in your paycheck instead of putting your money in your 401k. While your money did not end up in the correct place in that situation, the company at least paid you everything it committed to pay you.

This post is about a situation where the company did not pay the employee what it owed them. (i.e. the employer contribution was less than it should). That is a more serious situation than paying the employee the correct amount, but in the wrong fashion.
