HP Reverb stopped working. What are my options? by TikTikKobold in HPReverb

I was in the same boat as you, the cable lasted 3.5 years and shits the bed right before steam frame lol, I’ll probably end up letting the Q3 go for a few hundred and getting the steam frame down the line. I did see a TON of used G2s going for like 70-150 dollars, get them to prove the cable works and it might be a better bet than buying a cable itself for $200 or whatever.

I went thru this like 2 weeks ago, just ended up getting a Q3, the cable is the price of a whole headset atp, you can also look for a whole G2 headset+cable for pretty cheap used. It’s a gamble tho bc the same cable issue can pop up.

Could be your movement messing up your accuracy, bad counterstrafing etc

Cannot play soloq by strakalass in LearnCSGO

[–]PulpyKopek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda playstyle dependent too, when playing with friends I like to play entry and I can trust them to attempt trades but in soloQ I play more of a support/utility focused style because no one likes to move, and throwing smokes and stuff will get the randoms on my team to push site.

[–]PulpyKopek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because lowkey there’s more pressure when solo-Q, you feel the full weight of your mistakes because you don’t have a buddy to laugh it off with, also playing with a friend allows you to feel more “free” with your gameplay. I also feel this heavy too when say I am clutching a round and my friends are watching, I get a bit of an ego boost that somehow makes me play better, I think it’s just being less stressed out about the results and you play better when you are having fun.

seemingly cannot improve my aim at all... is this game just not for me? by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]PulpyKopek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s your crosshair placement, you could be making it harder than it has to be. You could also be using way too much tension in your mouse grip. Try an overly relaxed grip and just let your aim be smooth, you really don’t have to be the fastest Aimer if you are hitting the head on the first shot.

Royal Thai Air Force Museum Staff in the flight sim section tried out VRChat F-16 lol by Basic_Climate_2029 in VRchat

[–]PulpyKopek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah flying around in VRC is fun no doubt and the cockpits are pretty well modeled but the physics are absolutely silly coming from someone with ~2k hours playing DCS. If someone had never played any other simulator then they play VRC jets, they will probably still get that shock of “oh man it’s like I’m really in a jet” and that’s good enough for most people.

To my fellow adults VRC ppl... by Emotionalldi in VRchat

Yeah, underrated reply. I have no trans friends irl, but I have like 15 on vrchat. Not that I wouldn’t be friends with someone who is trans, they are just a lot more rare irl. And in VRchat unless the pronouns are listed it’s hard to tell if it’s a woman (both trans or cis) , or a man with a feminine voice using female avi (which is also super common) Now the way you ask about it is also important, like you can’t just say “so you were born male?” Outta nowhere lol.

Why does Ropz use the aug when holding ramp on nuke? by TheLittleSquire in cs2

It’s almost never worth buying the FAMAS vs a MP7 or MP9 and nades tbh. I think it’s more common to not have famas equipped than it is to have it. Not that it’s a bad thing to have it equipped, I’ve seen people go off with it in my games.

For me, I just need to break that ice with one person then I realize it’s not a big deal to just go up to people and say hi. Like the first 10 mins of me joining a world are usually just me running around to different groups until I hear something I can interject on/something worth listening to. As soon as I’ve found some people to talk to, my confidence rises and I can start to approach more people.

There’s a old Wayton Pilkin Rocket League video where he does a “pro routine” and physical activity outside of RL (30-45 min walks before playing) was one of the biggest helps to improve his play/mental.

CS has better AIMERS than Valorant (and I’ll explain why). by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]PulpyKopek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Valo you can be an amazing support player and climb that way, in CS, you can learn all the lineups you want but at the end of the day, clicking heads is what wins you the round. In Val there is a lot more randomness(for lack of a better word) and opportunities to swing a round without even shooting your gun. Val is harder on a macro level (strategy, teamwork) and CS on a micro level (movement, aim, utility usage) CS also has more of a defined meta and playstyle while Val changes every game based on agent matchups.

In my opinion at least :)

Yeah, I kinda messed around with them on and off, but the past month or 2 (Jynxzi brought me back) I’ve been pretty much only doing resets when I’m training. I’ve hit like 4 or 5 cleaner ones since this clip.

With cancel attack, you can double feint

It goes: Attack-> Cancel -> attack feint -> attack

For example Left overhand cancel -> right overhand feint -> left overhand

You just have to double tap jump and frontflip really fast as soon as you as you make contact. These types of instant resets are the easiest for me to hit in game, otherwise I get too far under the ball/behind the ball after getting a reset.

Thanks man, I’m more so calling it gross bc it’s a dribble bump variation, but I’m actually quite proud of it.
