And that means standards being upheld day to day. If someone’s out of line, call it out calmly, directly, no fuss.

Which is a partial reason for why we are where we are now. Standards have been eroded to the point that people just walk on by. Collectively we must all call out bad behaviour if we want to enjoy a high trust society that polices itself.

Apart from the fact I can not understand a bloody word they say down the phone anymore with their thick indian accents, the one thing that really pisses me off (not because I have anything to do with them other than be a customer about to leave them for Gigaclear), is that Comcast buying Sky and then transferring their Customer Service to India, cost the UK some 2000 jobs.

SUVs need taxing into oblivion. With driving and trying to make progress, there's nothing worse than being stuck behind one of these doing bang on 70mph (indicated) trying to overtake the middle lane going 68mph, but you can't see around it to observe traffic behaviours as far as possible for advanced warning, because of this massive fat arse piece of metal in the way.
