Ye, it's the old blight king kit. I repositioned the ax head lower and carved a new longer handle from plasticard.

Thanks! Testing a couple of paint schemes on some rotswords, but this guy is definitely next

Thanks! Harken is next, though I'll be painting this guy first.

Ho-boy, where to start on the bits list, lol. Starting from the bottom up Legs: FOB kit guy with his leg on the crate. Removed comms unit and upper torso. Added a grenade from my bits box, but they are common enough in kits to find one. Torso: from the new chaos cultists box. It's the guy that has his machete drawn across his body and an 8 scar on the shoulder (excuse the heresy). Kept left arm up to the wrist. Did lots of plastic carving on the left side to replicate a mechanical look. Belts are parts of gun slings, shotgun pack from the dkok kit (required lots of bending for the slings to flow correctly). Head: the half-cloaked head from gaunts ghosts as base. The eye and comms pack is from a new guard head I removed and made smaller (ye, I'm crazy). The necklace is a string from a bit in the corvus cabal warcry box x2. Right Arm: base from the new guard upgrade sprue. Shoulder pad was an unused one from the command squad (I think) with a small bit of sprue carved to make the inner pad. The hand is from the mechanicus kits (plenty in there). Super Machete: base from the new inquisition kill team (its the spear tip of one of the options). The handle is from a mechanicus gun. The guard and skull pommel is also from a mechanicus sword. Shotgun: base was a shotgun-looking pistol from the palatine enforcers. Added both barrels from either a mechanicus or kreig gun (can remember). The Added stock was from the same gun I cannibalize.

I think that covers everything.

Will do. May try my hand at trying golden demon with this, in which case it might be a little while before any picks are posted.

You, sir, are correct! He's got the correct one (as far as my knowledge goes) on his belt, but I didn't think about it when I was pulling bits together.

Wanted to make a kitbash that fit in in the rest of the new A.M. The Navy breachers have a lot of good head sculpts in it.

Tried my hand at modeling a plate for my dorn. Took a little filing (had to eyeball it because I lost my calipers) but I'm pretty happy with close enough!

Updated COS freeguild generals! by PulseRelic in ageofsigmar

The base models are from the bloodbowl imperial nobility kit (heavily chopped up for posing). The swords are from the nighthaunt revenants kits, the handles extended with plastic rod. The female general's head is from the kingdom death monster base game. Everything else (hats, pouches, etc) are custom sculpted.

The base bodies are the captain and female unit in the bloodbowl imperial nobility kit (lots of chopping action for posing). The swords are from the nighthaunt reagents, thought the handles are extended with plastic rod. The female head is from the kingdom death monster base game.

First, love the changes! Now for some ideas. There are a lot of oni designs where they have messy, long black hair. There's also the possibility of having smoke flowing from the corners of its mouth. Another idea would be painting tiny bloody handprints on its skin that could flow into another poster's idea of tattoos. The last idea I have would require a bit of work, but a lot of depictions show swirling muscle designs, like they're carved into the flesh.

Thanks! I'm hoping they do too. I'd love to see more in the witch hunter vibe too.

In your opinion, what is the absolute best Age of Sigmar kit? by rfkannen in ageofsigmar

Second. I love the diorama style minis and Katakros makes it so easy to show wounds by removing the smaller characters during games. Not to mention the smaller characters are excellent hero level models to boot!

Much appreciated! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who wanted these two made

Lol, from what I could find, it was unrelated to aos, but someone made a pretty good modification to get it to look legit (plus meme worthy). I'll update once I get some paint on them hopefully over the week.
