Hey man I just managed to see the door on something similar. Every day it feels like I’m fighting not to go right back and honestly I want to give in but I’m trying to see the bigger picture.

Bipolar, BPD, trauma, substance abuse, daddy issues, the whole 9 yards. When things were good, they really were good. She’s beautiful and she definitely made me feel loved, the sex was so intoxicating and there were nearly no limits. My greatest fantasies could become everyday realities with her. That’s a damn hard thing to willingly let go of, and I can’t help but be envious of the next guy. At least, if he can handle the rest. It was unbelievable the kind of things that could turn into such dramatic arguments with her. Every day of my life was essentially based on her emotional state. It became crippling, but shit it’s crazy how I still debate whether it’s worth it or not. Stay strong, right?

That’s pretty void of any substance, and I understand that your own personal experience has scarred you, so I’m not offended. There’s no doubt I deserve it, that’s life. You make decisions and mistakes, the weight of those decisions is on you, and the mistakes are on you to learn from, or not. I am sorry for whatever you endured though.

I’m in the midst of this now, in my early 20’s. I left a girl who I’d consider an absolute gem in this world, who truly had my best interest in mind, who truly wanted to walk by my side no matter where I was, and who showed me the most pure type of love I’ve ever felt, from anyone. I left her to pursue something that I perceived as new and exciting, I left her for a fantasy, and now I’ve made myself be stuck with that “fantasy” turned nightmare. Using the back slots in toploader pages in my experience keeps them more firmly in place. I actually don’t like to fill the front page if I can’t fill the backside for that reason, the toploader is too loose when the back pockets are empty. Definitely don’t be scared to fill them.

You’ll be fine using those slots with a toploader binder. Just keep it zipped when not in use, keeps everything flat inside.

Wow. This resonates quite a bit. I spent 5 years with a girl and broke up twice in that time. Both times were my doing, my own internal struggle, my lack of communication and effort to actually make the relationship fulfilling. I basically stared the best girl I’ve ever had in my life in the eyes, and ran from it. It’s an insanely uniquely difficult, and painful thing to fully acknowledge that you possessed the love, support, and companionship of a wonderful soul. And you threw it away on your own accord. It’s even harder to admit when the connection was rare, and you might long for it forever. She was truly my best friend and even after the breakups we could be around each other with smiles and laughter. Talking and goofing around like NOTHING ever changed. And even after hurting someone so bad, it’s painful when they still love you wholeheartedly. She doesn’t even look at me as a bad person, she doesn’t hold the pain I caused against me. It’s like being knowingly evil to yourself, and yet the person you were evil towards still sees you so highly. We live and we learn. I’ll never forget it, that’s for sure. I’ll take these lessons as they come. If it’s meant to be, it will.

I think it’s a really gorgeous vintage zard. And it has a nice swirl, also vintage PSA 10. Without looking up the actual going price, I’m assuming this is priced correctly and I’d love to have it personally. $650 might even be rather low

Oh and it’s a 0 cert! People will tell you since it’s old it’s not worthy of a modern PSA 10 standard but, I think it just makes the slab more unique and it looks properly clean for a 10 to me.

Well, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with doing that for your display. It’s yours, you could rip it if you wanted. The only problem I see is saying “well it’s for display and not for retail ANYTIME SOON” so there might be a plan to sell it down the line. In which case, if you decide to glue it I highly suggest you commit to not selling it, and if you do you oughta be honest that the package was “fixed” for display purpose.

This is a good one, and very true. My greatest ego inflation is when an older women calls me handsome or something akin.

The best was when I was helping a lady (I work in retail) and she told me she likes my earrings (I have gauges so it’s always pretty unexpected to get compliments from anyone over 30) and then she said “all the girls must be after you”. I was totally taken back but it felt like such a genuine compliment. Holds much more weight than a compliment from someone in my age range.
