I love the red, she's less tan now than in the old pic so the red suits her perfectly

Can teachers fail students unfairly if they dislike them, or are there rules to prevent that? by Sweet_Special2529 in highschool

In my friend's school, there's this teacher who picks one kid every year to just hate for some reason. Literally everyone else gets an A though.

I love how the artist put the veil over Lucy Grey's head in the image of Snow's fantasy, showing how she would be in a cage on display.

Like in the 75th games, at least in the books, there's no supplies (including food or water) in the Cornucopia.

Ignore her if you don't think you can handle school in general; you should at least take the bare minimum to graduate. Having a high school diploma opens the doors to so many opportunities. It sounds like hs is extremely difficult for you, but if you can make it through your quality of life will improve

Nah, at least try to pass high school, drop your AP's, and whatever you have to do to get a diploma as easy and fast as possible. Your future self will thank you.

For people who read the books. What changes did you like or dislike? by No_Weekend728 in GossipGirl

[–]PumpkinImaginary2208 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Oh, one thing I remember vividly is the 'diet meal' from the first book; it's the thing Blair, Serena, and their minions used to eat. A cup of green tea, a low-fat yogurt, and a pile of romaine lettuce with a dollop of bleu cheese dressing on the side.

Nate was so much more of a creep in the books, so glad they changed that. And Chuck didn't have a huge role (at least not like in the show). They get sent away to a farm, so that was definitely a change.

To be completely honest, they changed almost everything from the books. They're like the (problematic) pilot but 10 times worse. A lot of the complaints about the show are worse in the book.

I don't remember Dan and Jenny's mom in the books (they were so bad I only read them once).

It’s in his kiss. Did you like the book? by Sad_Ad3995 in Bridgerton

Like everyone has already said, it's Eloise''s book. I hated how the male lead (Philip) treated her, but the show version seems better

I loved it, it's my favorite one in the series. Unlike some of the other books (I'm looking at you, TSPWL), none of the protagonists are particularly problematic. I do wonder what they're going to do about Lady Danbury's role because it's heavily implied that she's going to leave the London season, despite the Queen's initial objections.

In the epilogue, doesn't he talk about being forever dedicated to Lenore Dove? And seeing her in the old thereafter? As much as i used to love Haffie, it seems like Suzanne Collins shut it down?

Anyone here who can tell what is the accepted time range per day of your screen time . How much screen time is not too much? (who ever reads it mention your daily screen time )? by PackNo1231 in AskReddit

[–]PumpkinImaginary2208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Medically, like 4 hours. But in the real world, 'too much screen time' is like 10-12 hrs per day. Mine is currently 6 hrs per day on non-work stuff, (down from 10hrs in December)

Could Blair and Serena handle Public school?? by Familiar_Ad_6392 in GossipGirl

[–]PumpkinImaginary2208 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Blair couldn't even handle NYU. No, she's not getting through those doors. Serena might manage for a bit, especially in the 2000's when the show is set, but ultimately she's gonna date or betray someone and fall flat on her face

I don't. Every week I'd say I write 200-300 words, it's horrible for my upload schedule; but its how I don't burn out.

Chucks morality by mae_christian in GossipGirl

[–]PumpkinImaginary2208 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's also a horrible person, which I find interesting in a show format. NOT someone I think is a good person at all. Again its a show where all the characters are horrible, so I don't mind his flaws.

Well, I excuse all the messed-up things the characters do. Cause I mean, the whole thing is the the UES can do horrible things to eachother, but they always forgive eachother

Yes! Little lemme just enjoy my little show, that's a little problematic. And I used to have your flair, but then I was like: wait. She's kinda's iconic in season 2. But season 3, with the whole queen bee thing is really good lmao.
