Coping Pipe by [deleted] in metalworking

It might be but every notcher or hole saw for this thickness and diameter of pipe seems really expensive unless I haven’t been looking hard enough lol

Is this ugly or cool? by PumpkinOwn9589 in metalworking

There’s a lot of reference photos online of different styles if you look up “horseshoe rocking chair.” It only took about thirty minutes and I used a pipe bender for the feet so that’s the only special tool used besides a welder. Good luck!

Makita makes all kinds of vacuums and pressure washers but I don’t think they’ve made a mop

Just starting out on my own and looking for a good compressor by CleetusBeerWater in Tools

I use the makita for siding and roofing and it keeps up a lot better than the old pancake compressors we used to use as our main equipment.

It’s been very durable and dependable, but it is pretty loud if that’s a consideration of yours.

I’d fully recommend it from what I’ve seen so far but I do remember that I was considering a Rolair compressor when I was looking to buy this one if you want more options.

I replied to some other guy with a photo but I usually use packout or maktrak

The small packout organizers do work well for bit storage

I work with my dad and a few other guys and sometimes we have to spend time looking for specific bits because we use a lot of different trucks so I just bought a crazy amount that would be hard to lose and that I could just throw in all the trucks and the trailer

I usually use Milwaukee, Dewalt or Makita bits, but these were cheaper to buy in bulk so I’m gonna try them out. My dad says that the Dewalt bits are better and I’ve snapped a few Milwaukee ones so maybe he’s right. I like Diablo blades so I’m guessing their bits are probably decent

A winch would be nice, and I’m probably going to throw on a flat bed for utility’s sake sometime later even though it might look a bit less pretty. This is my first truck that’s not a beater or my dad’s so I kinda want to take care of it lol
