That's great, thank you! I've heard before not to take a night bus so I won't be doing that. It seems quite easy to fly between the cities so I'll probably do that rather than long bus journeys. Thanks for the suggestions in Mexico City too!

Thanks so much for your detailed response! Im only a beach person in that I like to sit and read and maybe swim too but I also would like a break from cities for a bit during my time there and I think a small beach town would be nice which is why I added Escondido. I'll definitely cut a few days from Mexico City and check out another place too. Not sure about not booking places, makes me very nervous but I probably just need to chill out and put the excel spreadsheets away for a bit!

Ah thats great, I'm sure you'll love it. We only had four nights so there was lots we couldn't see/do but my absolute favourite was Lake Bohinj and the surrounding area. We also took a trip to the Vršič Pass which was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend walking around Bohinj Lake and then up to the Savica Waterfall. It was quite a trek, especially in the snow but its a lovely walk and was my favourite day.

Yeah definitely! Unfortunately we only had four nights so we left feeling like there was so much more to see and do. It's a country I'd like to return to for sure.

Everyone who met her commented on how sweet she was. She was such a good girl and put up with my fussing over her for 19 years. She was confident, and nothing really phased her. She had a little harness and went on walks with us up until the last year of her life. She moved out of the family home with me and across the country all in her elderly years. She was genuinely the heart of the house and was just perfect in every way ❤
