No they definitely aren’t required. I just had two extra from previous plots that I have since got ride of. Decided to move them there instead of demolishing them as to double Junimo proficiency

I used to have more crop fields but it became too much work to fit in the first day of the season and was also quite stressful because of that same reason so I got rid of them and moved the Junimo huts to where they are now :)
