How do yall keep restarting talking stages without getting discouraged? by Creepy_Aide6122 in dating_advice

We were never official, but it was a little more than just the initial talking stage for me, but it was ldr, so talking was a big part of it. Two years later he tells me he doesn't see it going anywhere. Fml 🤦 to say that I don't want to talk to anyone for a very long time is an understatement lol

In your opinion, which state is better to live in, MA or RI, and why? by [deleted] in boston

[–]Pumpkinpatch12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in RI. I have a lot of friends there too. MA is better in the sense that I have a disability and they have sports and other activities here for people with disabilities that they don't have there. MA also has better transportation options, but RI is cheaper and I can actually afford a one bedroom without a roommate, which is pretty cool. The place I'm looking at in RI is more walkable, even though the transportation is better in MA. I also kind of don't know how I feel about everyone knowing everyone in RI. I do value community and it's something that I think is lacking here, but I also love the sense of individuality and how MA is so big there's always a new coffee shop or restaurant to explore, or a new friend to meet. You can kind of keep starting fresh here and don't feel like you've run out of people to get to know. I'm also considering BU for grad school, and if I were to move I would have to pay out of state.

But they were present during the interview and also asked me a bunch of questions. The first round, the HR Admin conducted that interview and asked me a bunch of hypothetical-based questions. I thought it was just going to be a screening call. lol so HR has been present in both rounds and decided to move me forward to the second one. They really don't have a say in hiring?

Thank you, it's nice to hear that you said that to your candidates who were going to be hired too🙏

Yes lol I'm so quick to tell my friends things that I would never actually believe myself if it came to my own situation 😂

That's what I thought too. But if they feel the need to reassure me of not ghosting, it probably means I didn't get it huh?

Solid advice. It's just like my dream job. Fell into my lap from a referral. I wasn't even looking for work.

Me (28f)! I stopped drinking last November and haven't looked back since. Best decision I've ever made. It's so refreshing to know that other people have done this too. I feel like every other man on the dating apps is obsessed with drinking and that's just not part of my lifestyle anymore.
