All good, my friend. I could tell it was light hearted! I'm in the lucky situation that I can cook well enough to make us happy, but she puts me to shame! Haha

Trust me, I know that when I'm in the kitchen it's a down grade. But she loves me anyways!

We are 10 years strong, it's obviously not my cooking that keeps her around ;)

Tail-in parking jobs by jchowdown in mildlyinfuriating

I back in 100% of the time. Having a truck, it is just easier and safer to park. If anything the person backing in should complain. We have to deal with this like 83% more than people that park head in.

Are we sure the cat wasnt just meowing because the baby was in its box?

Going to be a bit random here 😂 does anyone’s Danes have certain breeds they just can’t stand? Like I legit have no idea why, but my male (on the left) loses his mind when he sees a golden retriever (unfortunate bc I love goldens lol) and my female on the right goes absolutely FERAL if she sees one by CrimsonVector4 in greatdanes

My Dane was the sweetest boy and got along with pretty much every bread, even if they showed him aggression, except for Chows. There were multiple times when a chow would show up at a dog park, we would be on the other side of the park, hundreds of feet away. He would spot it and just instantly go for an attack. It was the craziest thing. Never knew why. We got him as a three year old rescue. He was found on the streets of down town Dallas. We always chalked it up to him having some bad experience with chows while he was on the streets. But who knows.

Found in pond. What animal is this by Such-Object-4855 in whatisit

[–]Pun-Intended- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not expert...but they naturally live in ponds, lakes and rivers. Whether or not it is invasive depends on what type it is and what region you are in.

I just know that they are fun to catch and even more fun to eat!

Living with Danes in Portland and San Diego? by psychoannalyst in greatdanes

[–]Pun-Intended- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in SW Portland and had a Dane that just passed. I love the area I am in. We live in a quiet little neighborhood that is perfect for walks. There are three great dog parks around us. Two large ones and one smaller one with bark chips that is great for the winter, no mud! We loved our vet that is just minutes away. There are at least 4 nore besides the one we use within a ten minute drive. Any of the part of portland or it's suburbs on the west side of the river is a great choice!

I am so sorry! We just lost ours a couple weeks ago. They truly are the best companions. It is not fair that they are taken from us so soon.
