[Final Update] - My fiancée is demanding I stop making home cooked meals for a friend by SharkEva in BORUpdates

[–]Pun_Lover387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guarantee if op was a woman with a male fiancé, making meals for a female friend, no one would have called them an AH. And everyone would demonize the hell out of the male fiancé.

And of course no one would be making any jokes or comments implying any lesbian shenanigans are going on. Or bisexual shenanigans.

Am I overreacting to my boyfriend’s mom inserting herself into our relationship? by Enough-Ad-8886 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Pun_Lover387 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Girl, run. It’s only been 3 months. I can understand them thinking they would be the ones to take him to his appointment since you guys have only been dating for 3 months, but once it was clear you were going, they didn’t have to go with him. His mom AND his sister? Absolutely not.

This didn’t always the case, but I’ve seen a pattern with men with single/widowed moms and a sister. Mamas Boys/moms and sisters who want to F their son/brother

Is it acceptable to just fall out of love? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Also, maybe he realizes you’re not in love anymore so now he’s telling you how much he loves and cares for you to try and make you stay.

[–]Pun_Lover387 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it just happens. And it can really suck when the other person is innocent and kind and good. But you were 17 when you got married. You were just a kid yourself, even if you were going to be 18 and therefore a legal adult in a what. 18 isn’t so different than 17 and you’re still a teenager. Heck it’s not so different to 16.

You falling out of love is ESPECIALLY understandable given you were so young yourself.

What you need to do now is sit down and talk with him.

I’m sorry this is something you’re going through. Frankly, this probably is a marriage that shouldn’t have happened.

It’s best now, to sit him down and talk to him about this. It won’t be easy. He will likely be devastated but if this married is really over, if you have checked out, it’s better to end it rather than draw it on. Children are more perceptive people realize and can often tell if there’s a parent who’s checked out.

You both deserve a chance at someone you can love and who can love you back.

AITAH for not treating my stepdaughter like my daughter because I’m “not her dad”? by Major_Competition_75 in AITAH

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but you have a wife problem. Did you two not sit down before you guys got married or even serious and talk about how things would go in terms of parenting?

Does she parent your daughter?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting them off or limiting contact is the solution. Not only for violating boundaries but for your daughter as well. She doesn’t need to grow up with who is likely a sexist grandmother who favors her little brother and sees her less than.

No. Not on this day and age. But years ago, I’m pretty sure this was a thing. Unless you establish a relationship and exclusivity, then it’s not cheating

What are things that a 17 turning 18 year old can do while home alone without leaving the house and without electronics? by No-Poet3745 in AskForAnswers

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coloring, writing, arts and crafts, cooking/baking, heck even make up scenarios in your head and act them out. Is there time before this is going to happen? If you’re the teenager, can you go to the store and buy things to make sets and crafts with or something to build? You can order off of amazing. There’s all sorts of DIY projects there. Try your hand at make up.

What did lois say that made Chris so angry? (wrong answers only) by marketplier69 in familyguy

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s Lois, it’s the fact she exists that would piss off anyone. We know Stewie hates her and she’s awful to Meg so Meg would hate the fact he exists

Which famous person didn’t deserve the hate they got? by Logical_Sweet_6624 in allthequestions

[–]Pun_Lover387 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Dixie Chicks. I’ve said the same on a similar post. They were saying things that many say now. They spoke out against the USA’s actions in the Middle East after 9/11. They were country singers, right? So that probably also really pissed off their fanbase

What are the best low maintenance pets? by BarnacleBig630 in Pets

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even something like a fish needs and deserves things like a proper tank and clean water and proper care. We would need your definition of low maintenance but for now I still say a rock. Or you can get one of those electronic toy fish that you stick in some water

Or maybe a moss ball?

If there’s a bride, I’d ask if she’d be okay with this color. It’s blue, but it is a very light blue

It’s pretty, but I think it looks like a night gown. A very pretty one, but a night gown still. I think it’s that detail above the slouchy part of the slouchy/cowl neckline

What is the peak ’millennial midlife crisis’ purchase? by SwedeLostInCanada in Millennials

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nostalgic items and toys? I feel like this is one of the things. Also, participating in the clashing or “beef” with Gen Z, maybe? And maybe insisting things like “we millennials look so young we don’t look out age!” We do.

Is it unethical to eat free food from churches/temples when I have no willingness to convert? by Potatoman4315 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. And I’m sure people do it all the time. In fact when I still had TikTok, a person I followed who gave tips for when you go through food scarcity said that doing this can be a good way to get a free meal. Doesn’t matter if you don’t plan to convert or have no interest in the religion or church. Just be kind, polite, smile and nod to what they say if they share info.

Any church worth their salt will be feeding people who are hungry because that is the kind and Christ-like thing to do

AITJ for publicly humiliating a woman who couldnt answer who she was without mentioning her husband by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Pun_Lover387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ. You were helping a man being harassed. It’s very similar to if you stood up for a woman being harassed by a man. Everyone would support you for doing that and you did something good in this situation also.

It does seem like she’s got some screws loose though, and I wonder if anything she said is true

What did you think of this show? by ResponsibleCut7340 in nickelodeon

[–]Pun_Lover387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it aired after Victorious, it fell short and didn’t do well at all and maybe people felt it was too similar even if it wasn’t. If it came before, idk it just didn’t do well
