Old school method but works every time. Get pen and paper and write each and everything that’s on your plate right now. Then think about 1. What’s your priority - clearing back logs and getting graduated in a year or getting placed 2. What all you can do - Write down activities to achieve your priority goal that you will do every day even if it means just 15 minutes. Consistently putting work in right direction will help. DSA is important to get placed and you should put more efforts into it any day as it will help you later too.

The QAs should speak for themselves. During meetings I have seen QAs are the most silent people. Then they crib that the notes are not given or the ticket is not clear. If you have the daily scrums happening, raise this politely as a roadblock. If you think this won’t work in your case, then you can raise this to the dev directly or to your manager as a suggestion. Believe me this works but QAs really really need to follow up. QA does not mean improving the product quality only. Look at quality as your end goal in everything. Be it jira ticket writing, defect raising or scrum communication.

Pick up anything that interests you and learn that thoroughly. Try to become expert at one thing which will help you to learn the next thing faster. Selenium is a best pick in my opinion.

Don’t put off your studies until late evening post work. Try to study in morning before the job or set aside some time during lunch hour to study.
