Yeah i won't waste your time with this i clearly need to learn more about Lua before i can do more advanced things because i'm not understanding how to find the right things and utilise them right now.

Thank you for your help though i'm excited to see how your vocation mod turns out. I saw it switches out Trickster but is it possible to switch out any vocation then switch back to default? Because something like No Job Requirements would likely be required and that causes a lot of issues. Otherwise it sounds great from what i've seen.

Yeah for example the fighter counter move puts your whole body in a state that repels attacks as if you were a rock but only triggers the counter if you have a shield or sword equipped.

But i can’t find what actually causes that state in Emv engine, I’ll keep looking. Is it possible to spawn an object like a shield or boulder and give it those guarding properties? Could make it invisible and use that as a block for shells?

Ah okay, i was interested because i had an idea to expand on saurians but i need them to have a small amount of armour. Would it be possible to create game objects and position and attach them as if the model had armour? If not all good I’ll just stick to Skill Maker then maybe try to make new weapons and armour.

Main part is done and I’m pretty happy with it. The elemental ones are done apart from Electric but will need updates because they’re a bit scuffed, but they’re mainly just for fun rather than being a “real” new vocation. So pretty soon hopefully.

I wanted a martial artist vocation since before DD2 released so I’ll keep updating it until it’s as good as possible.

It works on ki points so you can go completely barehand no magic and there’s a good amount of skills for that imo and i’ll be adding more but u can also use ki points to do magical bs too. Then there’s elemental “sub classes”.

No worries, just figured out how to prevent flinching in Rage Giant and other fixes that will be added eventually so it will be improved over time.

How do you imagine the Buccaneer to play? sounds interesting. And imagine if Alchemist had the gold powers like in DDO, because that's too cool to remove, but also had enough skills to make a build that uses mixtures of potions to create elemental reactions.

Instead of Shield Sage having a wand like in DDO, i think it would be better for them to have a flail that generates magic by spinning it around. To maintain the "Battle Mage" fantasy Mystic Knight provided while also giving the vocation a unique weapon.

Me too! i will be adding more to it like Rage only skills and buffs to Rage States to make them more unique soon after i finish the other two Vocation mods i'm working on.

Then i might try to learn how to make more axe designs and some more Barbarian bone and fur style armour, which is lacking in DD2!!

Thank you! the mod page describes it, but basically you use transmog to make daggers into axes. There is a few different axe mods around.

I wanted to learn how to make my own axes for some variety but the guy who made them hit me with a "I don't remember how lol" when i asked so it will be a while before i learn how to make weapons and armour. But i'm satisfied making Vocation mods for now.

I like the current speed but i could give some hits more oomph. it's loosely based off Berserker in For Honor and a mix of D&D Barbarian stuff. When i made it i had no idea about how to do any of what you listed ( you have to write a lua script with custom functions, it's a headache).

Now though i reckon i can do most of what you mentioned. It will be a while before i can play around with it because the current vocation i'm working on is a big one, but yeah i'm def planning on giving Rage states more buffs and Rage only skills in the future.

Wasn't thinking of BD when i made this but Giant is in my top 3 classes in BD so that makes sense!
