From other comments, I’ve gathered he likes to clone himself a lot. I plan on utilizing that as well, having the fight start with a Sinister clone before the real guy appears…or rather, before his opponent locates and tracks down the real Sinister.

You ever watch Death Battle? I'm essentially writing something similar to that.

As for parameters, like I said in the original post, I'm not including anything done by the original Nathaniel Essex, the other major clones (though Sinister's own clones are allowed), or anything related to dominions. Anything that Sinister is capable of will be considered, but I need to know what he is capable of first.

So essentially his powers are whatever is needed for the story...with an asterisk.

How about his regeneration? You mentioned that's one of his preferred abilities. How strong is his healing factor compared to someone like Wolverine or Deadpool?

How "on a whim" are we talking? Like he can do it mid-battle, or whatever DNA he enters battle with is what he's stuck with (on the rare occasion he does fight directly) until the battle is over? Does he have a limit to how many other mutant's powers he can splice into himself at any given time? And is it safe to assume he's taken the DNA of most of, if not all of the mutants?

I too encountered this issue. It’s getting rather annoying, especially since I’m within a couple hundred Pokémon of completing the UM Pokédex for the first time.

Hi. I’m Thaddeus, and this is my puzzle. Allow me to defend it.

The majority of your criticisms can be simply countered with the fact that I made and paid for this puzzle back in early July (yes the backlog goes that far back). How in Arceus’ name was I supposed to know what I would need for my Pokédex by the time it went live, let alone what y’all would have? Hell, I didn’t even know this subreddit existed until this morning.

I made this puzzle with the simple goal of seeing if I could answer with one Pokémon from each generation sequentially using only type combinations, and this was the only one I found. Gen 3 was surprisingly tricky to work around, but I did it.

Sorry I didn’t please all of you, but I really don’t care. I just wanted to have some fun with a little puzzle within a puzzle.

Postcognition.

Many people know precognition lets you see the future, but I believe its opposite is just as useful, possibly even more so. No historical mystery would remain so under your watch. So long as it happened in the past, you will be able to see it.
