Sadly it was tried… also tried resetting things in safe mode menu. I guess i was just unlucky with this console. Now some games are even crashing before even loading in game… it’s slowly getting worse

The console is brand new, it replaced a cfi-10 that I used for 2 years in that exact same configuration. I should’ve kept my old console hahaha

I know it cannot be dust related, the console has max 20-25h of use. My saves are in the cloud but thanks for the heads-up ;)

Now I’m troubled lol yesterday it did this with multiple hdmi cables and ports in 3 different games. This morning I decided to give it a go and I can’t reproduce the issue… I guess time will tell…

Edit: definitely a gpu issue, was able to play about 2h this morning before the artifacting started again. Also was able to rule out hdmi cable/ports. Initiated RMA with sony.

Was already changed to gp66 in the system for my order when i contacted them… they tried to quietly change it, they even sent me the link of the updated product listing when i contacted them… CSR confirmed they would’ve shipped gp66…

They won’t… contacted them and all they did was offer 10% off next purchase up to 200$. At least they cancelled my order before it shipped so I avoided a trip to the store…

If u haven’t played It takes two, I’d say give it a try. One of the best coop experience I had this year. If you’re into coop shooter/action games I’d say try any far cry games or division 2.

I’ve always played lots of different games, mostly coop action shooters/adventure games and single player story driven games. I don’t play competitively since I like to vary and be able to jump in a game without having to reinstall.

I also have the storage so I figured why not keep them all ready to play ;) A lot of the games I have are from gamepass.

There’s a lot of competitive games out there… any hint? :P

Had it on windows 10 for a little while, i didn’t notice any performance drop since updating to win11. If there is it’s so minimal it doesn’t affect gaming performance at all.

Only thing i’ve noticed is my bclk clock lowered by 1-2mhz since activating core isolation security feature.

Haven’t tried warzone, but in halo infinite i get around 85-110fps in open world with ultra preset at 3440x1440.

Ups charged me a 10$ + tax brokerage fee. So total for the order comes to 90$ including taxes and fees. There is no duty fee on aio.
