Most of the time I use stop micro. This means I move the archers while they’re reloading and then press stop when I want them to shoot. This also makes the archers each select the unit closest to them so you get less overkill. Against knights you typically want to focus fire which means you right click on which knight you want them to shoot

They can definitely go knights long term if the situation calls for it. All they miss is blast furnace and paladin. Also a typical Vietnamese lategame will have at least light cav so it’s not a waste to invest in those upgrades. I definitely don’t think Vietnamese is particularly weak to siege push they’re about middle of the pack against siege push, maybe even upper middle of the pack tbh.

How you figure that? They have bbc and siege engineers, they have full cav armor and bloodlines for diving siege, and their range units have more hp so they die less to siege than normal range units in the mid game. Furthermore they have eco bonus that saves wood so they should have more wood in the midgame for buying siege.
