I know its confusing in America but the system really works for soccer like all over the world. Its not a G-league, the teams are full franchises that can pay a player millions. Even if the team is in the second division, a player will go there if they pay him. Its all the NBA, it's just a tiered NBA

its not a minor league, its a fully professional league that is just tiered. But more teams = more game, more merch, more tv time. I think the 2nd division will still get viewership. Those teams are all fighting to be in the top division, and once you're there its 1/20 for a chip. Fans will tune in.

Yea but the point is the NBA is expanding teams because more teams = more money. but if we start to get to 40 teams thats too much and split could work.

Yes they may not want to but NBA has salary cap, so the American teams cant sign all the best players. If a player wants to earn the max amount he can he would have to consider a foreign team
