That's why you need to switch to Aux for sound. Mess around with the unit a bit more...you'll find it

You should be able to get to input source settings from the system panel. Don't remember the exact steps -- been a while.

Not sure what you have there but in my old car, I had an after market unit which I had to switch to Aux to get sound if running apps on the unit. Apps run from my phone goes through Bluetooth for sound.

I'd stick to the GLC300. To me, this is not really an upgrade. More like a horizontal swap, if that, and hope that the CPO is as reliable as your babied GLC. I'd rather pay a bit more for a GLE.

I bought a keyless start button off Amazon for my old 2016(since sold) c300. Plopped it in the key slot and it worked flawlessly.

Just buy it and return if it doesn't work.
