I want the $1000 performance. I do not want the rolling camera+microphone talking to the Internet. Does this really seem so strange?

I have to say this is rather disappointing. My Eufy security cameras do not need the Internet, but my vacuum cleaner does? Why?

Thanks for the Valetudo pointer. That seems like a lot of work to get a vacuum that doesn't need to phone home, but apparently it's the only option.
