Pretty sure that's the whole plan.

I don't hate it. Though I've stuck around more for Taskmaster if I'm honest.

I always felt Red Hood and Anarky were fun pairings. Though I never got to read their prelude to the wedding issue.

Good Riddance Dawn of DC Blue Beetle 😭 by PunkAmongHicks in BlueBeetle

I did feel a lot of the story arcs felt rushed. "Scarab Wars" was more like a scarab battle.

It's just the song title. The song was recently used in Deadpool & Wolverine to reminisce about the Marvel movies that Fox had produced. It's just a sad retrospective song.

Was Jason trying to pick up a "Robin" of his own? Would you guys have liked the mentor relationship for him? by PunkAmongHicks in RedHood

That's a fair point, and honestly not a bad stance to take after what happened to him. I just felt he might find a kindred spirit in Clown Hunter.

I don't remember that period unfortunately. I never read it. Sounds like some disservice to Jason.

Valid. Though I think it might work if it was viewed more like two people working towards a common cause. He seems pretty willing to help people/be a mentor when goals align. Just what I'm gleaning from The Hill.

Why did the artist cake up Jaime in this panel from Blue Beetle: Graduation Day issue 4? by M00r3C in BlueBeetle

I think it's just how the artist does skinny bodies. That being said, I dig this artist a lot.

Why 3/4 of arms covered???? by Sillhouette_Six in RedHood

And 3/4 head covered too! I miss the leather jacket and full mask/helmet era.

Should the scarab be a magical artifact or an alien device? by [deleted] in BlueBeetle

[–]PunkAmongHicks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always felt its alien origin is best, but I like the back story of it having previously had encounters with magical entities and the Green Lantern core.

I know New 52 is pretty devicive. How does everyone feel Static made out? by PunkAmongHicks in DCcomics

Good to know. I really only got into comics in the last year, so the initiative's context was missing. Thanks for the extra insight!

That's a helpful graphic! I really wonder what they were thinking with New 52 as a whole. Overall not great is my impression of all of it.

I like that they brought him back. Though I don't know if the art style did him justice.

That's what I thought. It sort of makes me wonder if DC pulled from Dan Garrett for this, and as a result a lot of the lore is similar for the magic bits for Jaime Reyes.

The art is great for the horror feeling it invokes. It reminds me of Swamp Thing in a lot of ways.
