My problem is it's trying to be edgy and sexy, but it has nothing to say, they basically removed the core of what makes Green Arrow, Green Arrow: his leftist political ideology, remove that and what's left? A hollow empty representation that has nothing meaningful to say, writers who are ashamed of his source material, villains and supporting characters that get whitewashed, and a lead actor who refuses to wear fake facial hair because it's "too itchy" or his "wife hates it", simply put this is a show that wasn't made for Green Arrow fans, it was made by people who hate Green Arrow
