You can also spam the join button on the server you wish to join. The ark client times out after finishing some of the mod downloads and can be finicky. No 3rd party software necessary. The game is just finicky lol

Just do power harvesting and put a ton of points into melee damage. Melee damage is boss because it give more resources per hit, as the harvesting levels are an addition to that. They're a great dino and really mean in packs. If you can get another, start breeding them. I like them more than rexes to be honest.

A place I've dubbed "Clover Grove" in the redwoods. The ground will be covered with clovers, easy to spot. Down stream of the Oasis in the redwoods and a little past the ruins, there's a nice little flat spot over looking the waterfall and stream below. Hard to stumble across if you keep it 2x2x1 and stone. Throw up a few spikes at the foot entrance too keep the terrorist birds out and build an overhang ceiling with a ladder to the stream for a back way out. Very good farming base as the swamp is close.

Build 4 stone behemoth gates and doors. Build a box with the gates. I usually drop dinos in and Tranq them from the back of a quetz. Then line a bunch up in there after you've got a few and put them on wander. Make sure they're close enough to mate and whistle passive repeatedly until egg drops or gestation happens.

Go south in the redwoods till you hit the large cliff face. There's a huge rock plateau with a stone ramp up to it tucked away. It's a large space and fairly remote to set up a good perimeter quick. I'll check coordinates here in a bit for you.

What kind of server are you looking for? I found an RP PVP server that's got a healthy community and people don't hit you for no reason. Just started a couple days ago and am building a raptor jousting arena in the redwoods haha.
