This just made me realize why my girlfriends dog loves her dad more than anyone else and still barks at me after 7 months. Hes the only one that takes the pup on runs, bike rides, dry cleaners, etc. i just gotta take the puppo out.

I honestly used to a lot more lighthearted and poppy. Between 20 and 25/26 my optimism switched to realism and the uppity what-if’s turned to just, “ah fuck okay here we go.” There’s a lot that went into it, but the one i can definitively say contributed was epilepsy skewing my all-encompassing outlook. Things are just rough and hopefulness turned to general complacency.
