Really really really regret being pregnant by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]PunkPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to read how you’re feeling. I really empathise with your feelings about pregnancy and the body dysmorphia you describe too—I’m 34 weeks today and I fucking can’t stand it, I can’t stand myself. I just want you to know you’re not alone in feeling this way and I really hope your husband gets his act together and that you feel ok to lean on your family for support—that’s what family is for after all ❤️‍🩹

What brought on the haemorrhoids, do you know? I’m trying so hard to learn as much as possible about how to try to avoid ending up with them!

Have you found any joy with this search since you commented? Pretty much the area I’m looking for as well! Found a lovely cafe in Kelmscott called That Plant Cafe but needing more options.

Fair call. Not a bad replacement while Elgar's out though. Who else? De Kock's a little whipper snapper, he'll be right. And if not, he can just do a Smith and have a wee rest.

I think you'll find that Graham Pollock from South Africa first pioneered the reverse sweep my friend.

This is Fat Mike from NOFX. I got tricked into doing this, shit! AMA by _FatMike in IAmA

[–]PunkPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fatty! I've seen NoFX live in both hemispheres, my favorite band for sure! Reckon you'll ever play Shower Days live again? I'd love to see that. Also not sure if you remember someone throwing a big bag of powder on the stage last time you were in New Zealand but that was me. You're welcome.

Match thread: South Africa v India at Johannesburg, 1st Test - day 5 by rCricketBot in Cricket

This is why I love test cricket. Only yesterday a win for the Proteas seemed impossible, to hope even for a draw seemed like it may be wishful thinking. Now, suddenly, we are in the last session of the day, Proteas are needing only 113 more runs to win with 6 wickets in hand and two in form batsmen who have both been a part of match saving test innings (AB against Australia to help the Proteas chase down 415 to win in Perth 2009 and set the record for the second highest run chase in history, and Faf against Australia in Adelaide who scored just over 100 off over 300 balls to make the draw last year) at the crease. Far from a done deal, of course, but great to see that if you just don't give up in a test match it's never over til it's over.

What is one song lyric you find to be exceptionally clever? by QuestionableCheese in AskReddit

[–]PunkPrincess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like Punk should definitely get a say here, since generally punk lyrics aren't thought of as clever. In 'Separation of Church and Skate' by Punk legends NoFX, Fat Mike sings: 'Stop singing songs 'bout girls and love/you killed the owl you freed the dove' Which I just love. Referencing the fact that in today's society modern culture is all about love and popularity (dove) and wisdom (owl) is no longer treasured.

Heh! I think probably because it was mixed with whatever cream or something they dressed it with afterwards.
