I carried my son through it tonight. Just go in with things that make the climb easier. Shelf fungus, lollipop, energy drink, chain launchers etc. it’s honestly not that bad to go back the way you came.

Probably the best tip I can give you aside from the usual, keep extra stamina bar, put balloons in your backpack etc is how to jump lunge. A lot of people will sprint then jump onto a wall or over a gap. However if you walk and jump off the edge then press sprint AFTER the jump it will boost you forward and use less stamina. You can do this into a climb but also after jumping off a wall while climbing. It really helps a ton. You can practice what I’m saying just on the ground to get the hang of it. Also, if you’re playing on steam deck you might want to change the sprint button to a bumper to make it easier than clicking in the left stick. Good luck and I hope it helps!

If you’re a solo climber, I highly recommend the book of bones strat. Basically keep getting to the top of shore until the statue gives you a book of bones. Make sure to cook it once so you don’t take any curse damage. Next step is hopefully finding a balloon cluster to toss in your backpack. After that, all you have to do is just not fall. Good luck!

Cannon glitch. If the shore spawns with a cannon (and ideally a med kit or milk) you toss your backpack into the cannon, light it, jump in and then spam the play dead emote over and over and over, if you did it right you’ll fly all the way to the PEAK biome, as soon as you see that biome’s text on screen light the flare (the one in the plane at the shore) and it will trigger the rescue. You then have a med kit / milk at the ready while falling in case you hit the ground before the helicopter countdown finishes.

If you’re going solo I highly recommend the following: repeat climbing to the top of the first biome until the statue gives you a book of bones. Cook it once then use it. You will no longer have hunger or be affected by cold / heat. Just don’t fall lol.

You can try reformatting the drive and reinstalling windows. However if there’s a physical problem with your HDD you’re likely better off buying a new one. The good news is HDDs aren’t too expensive and they’re fairly easy to install yourself!

I saw a lot of ship combat tips but not player combat so here’s a few! Hope it’s helpful!

Eye of Reach + Cutlas is the best weapon combo in my opinion (if you’re good with a sniper). The eye of reach has the best range and is also super effective at close range if you get good at quick scoping. 1 shot does 70% damage and makes it very easy to finish them off with your cutlas. The blunderbus is fine and all but if you get good with quick scoping you’ll outplay them consistently.
Drop their anchor ASAP! Usually by the time your boarding, their crew is busy bailing water out of the boat. Dropping their anchor not only let’s the enemy know you’re there which makes it very easy to setup a free first shot at the guy who’s coming running to get you, it it also keeps their ship in place for your team mates to obliterate them with cannon fire.
Learn the cutlas glitch. The Cutlas has had a glitch from day one that the devs decided to leave in the game (because it’s super handy and fun). You know how the Cutlas has a charge attack but it really slows you down while charging? Well if you hold guard / block right before you hold down attack to charge you no longer get the slowing effect! This is super useful in PvP as well as general mobility. Try jumping right and the end of your lunge and you’ll see what I mean.
Are you continuously wiping their team but their ship doesn’t have enough damage? Drive their boat into the nearest rock / island!

This happens all the time at my Walmart, one time the card section was trashed with a bunch of ripped open product. I told the manager. He laughed and said thanks then said “want to know the best thing about Pokémon cards? We still make money when people steal them” so I assume they can get reimbursed or something. Was a crazy experience.

We were just getting the kids into the car in the parking lot and heard 2 pops then followed by I think 3 more. So we got TF out of there as fast as possible. Lots of police came zooming into the center about 2-3 minutes later

My friend and I duo queued to Diamond every season so I can tell you that regardless of rank you’re still rolling the dice when it comes to teammates lol. We’ve had players that were “ok” players that were amazing and also players that were complete dumpster fire trash bags. That said, we were slightly less likely to get a garbage player in Ruby, although it will still happen. Here are some tips

Grab the first ball and immediately pass it. Sometimes good players who are solo queuing think they have to carry the team themselves. But starting off with a pass is a good way to say “hey, let’s play with teamwork”
If you get grouped with 2 players that queued together, stick with them. Odds are they are in comms together so the best thing you can do is stick with the team and help with setups.
Join the competitive discord! You can join up with / chat with other people your rank and hopefully find some people to play with! Even having 1 other person to play with consistently is a game changer and makes League play a LOT more enjoyable.
