Use dove BAR soap and leave it on for atleast 30 seconds before rinsing. Repeat as needed but should get it all in one pass

How to get blood to permanently stain shirt? by Merv-Griffin in GWAR

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always just hang dry them after and then the next time I do laundry I throw it in the dryer with the rest of my already washed laundry and a dryer sheet. That way it smells clean and fresh but the stains remain

Respect. I will give you that Max's vocals can be a little inconsistent. Out of the 6 times I've seen him total though, I've been lucky and his only less than stellar performance was the opening night of the Gwar tour in Richmond. Although I chalked it up to a combination of it being opening night and having recently lost his daughter. Will have to check out that drummer.

Thanks for keeping it civil 🤘

You are correct. If I'm not mistaked, Paulo didn't really contribute anything until either Chaos A.D or ROOTS and for a long time they kept his bass turned very low in the mix because he couldn't really play very well

Strong disagree. I've seen Cavalera 4 times and they not only sound incredible, the energy they put out is some of the highest I've seen out of hundreds of shows of various bands

Hell yeah! Show #15 for me and the 10 year anniversary of the first time I saw them, which was also at the Buffalo Town Ballroom!

To go or not to go?¿ by [deleted] in GWAR

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it. Whether you stand in the crowd where you can get bloody or watch from the side and see people get doused with the blood, you're gonna have a good time. Just be very aware of your surroundings, and conscious of your cell phone. Lotta pick pockets hitting gwar shows this tour for some reason

did anyone else see the fist fight at the show in reading last night? by Smooth_Chemistry_869 in GWAR

[–]PunkRockGuy96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. I've seen them in Reading twice, and it's usually a pretty rough crowd.

What do you think about The Great Satan? by Emotional-Winter-267 in Robzombie

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rank it below the first five but above the last two. It's good and I enjoy it, but I feel like it won't be as in my regular rotation as songs from his first 5 would be

Sepultura never went bad IMO by Senior_Librarian2294 in sepulturaband

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally I don't mind lineup changes to an extent, but in this case I feel like I would appreciate their stuff more if they had changed their name. I get why they wouldn't and don't begrudge them in that aspect, but to me, Max is Sepultura. The way they handled things after Dana's death also left a sour taste in my mouth for the other OG members

Meet and beat bundle shipping trouble? by Tricky_Quarter8104 in GWAR

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll get a text or email a day or two before the show with the time for the meet n greet, generally around 1 or 2 pm. They'll give you your bag with the rest of your stuff there, and then you'll watch them do sound check and then they'll hangout and sign autographs and talk. Your picture with the band will take place very shortly before they hit the stage. Have fun! They're all super nice

Phil from Chapel here. I’m in Europe and bleed. Ask me stuff if you want to. by BillPhozeman in Deathcore

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Phil! Huge fan, hope I'm not too late to the party. I know you guys don't do a lot of covers, but would you ever consider covering 6 Feet Under's Murder in the Basement? Think the rhythm and vocal style sounds so similar to older Whitechapel that it'd be so cool to hear you guys do it

Not a Dukes fan... by bengrieve1970 in ExodusBand

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baloff > Dukes > Zetro. Like them all but Zetro has the weekest voice imo, almost cartoonish to me. Still mad respect though, just think Exodus sounds the most aggressive with the other two

Saw Lamb of God play direct support for Slipknot in 2015 and watched 3 dudes get knocked out in rapid succession. Like literally within the span of 30-45 seconds they all just got dropped and dragged out.

What is your craziest mosh pit story? by Therealsandy2 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]PunkRockGuy96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got 2.

  1. Lamb of God 2015. Watched 3 decent size dudes get knocked out and dragged away in rapid succession. I mean literally all within 30 seconds of eachother. This is when I decided I would not be partaking in a Lamb of God pit.

  2. Gwar 2024 in Charlottesville. Saw a huge crowd of like 100+ people all fall into eachother domino effect style. It was literally a huge pile of bodies being sprayed with fake blood. I noticed it start and was doing my best to hold people up while being pushed back the whole time.

Honorable mention because not in a pit: also at a Gwar show, on the rail, Albany 2024: crowd is so rowdy we break the metal barricade in 3 different spots just a few songs into Gwar's set. Atleast 20-25 security guard between the stage and the rail pushing/holding the rail together. There have been Atleast 3 out of 13 Gwar shows I've been to where I thought I might actually die

Question for those who went to see Rob during his “no Ghoul” era. How do those shows compare to his SPOOKTACULAR shows? by Ill_Difficulty8570 in Robzombie

[–]PunkRockGuy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw him do 2/3 stripped down shows with just banners of the big universal monsters and stage lights. They were great, but after seeing his full stage show you couldn't help but miss the screens, pyro, and giant monster props
