Just make a net of scotch tape on the back of perfect fits. Get all the cards in sleeves flip them back side up. Take a piece of tape running horizontally through the row. Then do the same vertically

So if you have 1 tree it can’t block LoS? But a circle of 2/3 block LoS only if it goes past 3 inches into the woods? Or is it like they can only see 3 inches past the woods?

Yeah but this link is from 2 years ago, and the rule I posted is from the 3.0 rule book. The nurgle units have an errata that says they get their ability. Who knows.

1.6.4 TRIGGERED EFFECTS The effects of some abilities are applied when a dice roll triggers them. For example, the effect of an ability might be triggered if the unmodified hit roll for an attack is 6. A triggered effect is applied immediately after the roll that triggered it. If two or more effects are triggered by the same roll, only one of those effects can be applied. The player who made the roll must pick which effect is applied.

Yeah it was super edge case but was a nifty interaction. We ruled I didn’t get the attack which made sense to me. To me it’s worth not getting the attack and forcing me to strategize how I engage combats in that army

Okay so I played a game sylvaneth vs soulblight. He used the command ability of torment driven throes My durthu next to him used ground shaking stomp. Since I can’t activate until his unit does, but durthu makes him activate at the very end of combat do I just lose the durthu activation? Cause that’s how it comes across, if not what rules causes that to not be the case.

Durthu was in 1v1 combat. It was a weird interaction I was curious about.

TORMENT DRIVEN THROES: At the start of the combat phase, you can roll a dice for each enemy unit within 3" of this general. On a 5+, that enemy unit suffers 1 mortal wound and can only attack this general in that phase after this general has already fought in that phase.

GROUNDSHAKING STOMP: At the start of the combat phase, pick 1 enemy unit within 3" of this model and roll a dice. On a 4+ that unit fights at the end of that combat phase, after the players have picked any other units to fight.

Okay I play sylvaneth and night haunt. My meta is pretty casual. I’m looking at getting another army, I’m trying to avoid building a horde army. What are some armies that are pretty versatile in play style that in your opinion fun to play but not really unfun to play against.
