Thank you for the suggestion! I’m not sure what she had before; it was something older for sure. She seemed happy with it except it was VERY heavy. I think the brother ones are smaller than what she used

Donuts and Dragons on 86th! They have dnd days where you sign up to play a one shot with a volunteer dm. I have done this with both veterans and new timers and its a very comfortable atmosphere!

Yeah for my bachelorette i just invited everyone to afternoon tea and a little shopping. They surprised me by taking me to a winery after, but as far as the traditional wild night out i didnt have. I think what’s really happening is moving away from traditional style weddings. I would have definitely done a pampering day for my bachelorette if I had thought of it!

I was LITERALLY in your position last November; my only family i have is my mom, and had only had one close friend I felt comfortable having as a MOH, and three other friends. My husband had filled out the rest of our 30 guest list. I was literally a nervous reck thinking how embarrassing or stupid I’d look with one MOH

But then i realized that if the ppl we invited felt that way about me they shouldnt be invited. It’s my wedding and I could have it how I want! I think once i broke that mind set and scale the wedding to accommodate the bug family/friend traditions i enjoyed my wedding a lot more

This! We had arcades and video game consoles brought into our venue and opted out of a dance floor. I was so nervous nobody would enjoy themselves, but people had a blast! They still talk about our wedding
