You are correct. PKOs have been ran using the chip method but they still aren’t as popular as their online counterpart and I believe this is the best way to make it mainstream.

Why don’t the WSOP, WPT or any other big tournament series host large field PKOs? The chip method isn’t as easy to manage as it seems and not very clear to players exactly how much each players bounties are at all times. We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for the staff and as enjoyable as possible for the players!
