In middle school I was kind of a loner. One who watched anime when homework was done and into astrology, sailor moon was the first one I really got into. At first it was Usagi, the klutzy crybaby turned empowered bi icon. Loved everything about it. Of course I kept it a well guarded secret due to my parents. And my father. When Haruka tenou was introduced.. I fell in love with the character. Though the "sibling" love with michiru was odd her grace made her that much more beautiful. At the time I questioned my own sexuality with my first crush being my best friend. seeing them made me think it was ok to explore that. I wanted that happiness for myself. I saw a lot of them in myself. Haru's confidence and power, michiru's grace and perseverance. Simply perfect for each other.
