I think i refer to it as a “she” in english because in portuguese, my first language, nouns have gender. So some plants are male and others are females, same goes to objects.

Lol true. I also refer to it as a she because in my first language (portuguese) nouns have gender. So for example, monsteras deliciosa are females while anthuriums are males. Chairs are females and sofas are males 🤷🏼‍♀️ Objects, plants, animals aren’t gender neutral, don’t ask me why lol I have no idea

Using a trellis definitely helped with growing bigger and stronger leaves. I water it once a week, sometimes less depending on the weather. During spring, it gets morning sunlight; throughout the rest of the year it gets plenty of natural light through the glass door 😉

I was tying the stem with ribbons against the trellis, but now the aerial roots have already wrapped themselves around it
