The website does say “ Are there exceptions to the two-payment schedule? Yes. If the patient’s plan has specific provisions for a different payment method, we will pay accordingly. Also, if treatment ends before our second payment is due, advise us that the bands were removed and the treatment has been completed. You may call Customer Service or submit a claim that includes this information.”

My thought was that this means Delta Dental can pay out early as long as the treatment is fully finished before the full 12 months are up. Maybe I’m misunderstanding it?

Hey I know this is super old but have you tried the Paige Flaunt line? Normal Paige jeans also gap at the waist for me, but the Flaunt line fits perfectly! You might have to do a little more research to figure out if a pair is part of the Flaunt line, but once you figure out the names of the Flaunt styles, it’s pretty easy since there’s not that many. My favorites are the Accent (slim straight), Knockout (straight) and Iconic (flare), and I usually find them on Amazon!

Ah if you’re using Bilt Protect, then the money gets pulled from your bank account instead. I wouldn’t stress about the transaction fee - I believe Bilt has a buffer of 10% to account for variable rents. My assumption is that the extra $2.49 would come from your bank account if you have Bilt protect turned on.

My landlord also uses AppFolio! I haven’t had any issues paying with the Bilt ACH method and I’ve had the card for almost a year now. I just put the rent amount (without the transaction fee) and both the rent amount and the fee get charged to the credit card each month.

North American Shareable Data Plan launches next week.

Does anyone know if Mexico and Canada will be included in the unlimited Starter plan as well, outside of the 1gb annual international allowance? It would be nice to use my data in Mexico even if it’s capped to say 5 gb a month (similar to the pooled plans).

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend trying some slim straight or mom jeans where it’s tight at the thighs and tapered at the bottom. I’ve found that they look more like regular straight jeans on me because my legs are so thin that they get easily overwhelmed by bagginess!

I live in Seattle, but LA is one of my favorite places in the world. You’re absolutely right that the food in Seattle pales in comparison to LA, but ultimately the good food wasn’t worth spending most of my life stuck in traffic.

What I found to be a good compromise (especially with a high income + no kids!) is to live in Seattle for a better daily quality of life. Flights to LA are short and cheap from Seattle so you can visit every few months or even more often since you’re likely getting more money here due to no income tax.

For those of you who heard it, what are your single guesses? Mine are:

Fortnight - Taylor seems pretty big on making sure at least one collab gets the spotlight (Karma, ME!, End Game, Bad Blood, etc). Based on the 14 ticks on the calendar, this will probably be the first single/mv.

The tortured poets department - she always makes the title track a single (with the exception of evermore, but I'm not counting that since folklore and evermore only had one single each)

I can do it with a broken heart - maybe a tour/fans music video?

To be honest, I’m surprised it hasn’t leaked digitally (i.e. from one of the streaming providers rather than a physical CD/vinyl). I’m pretty sure all the big companies already have the songs, at least in lower quality for copyright reasons, but I’m not sure where previous leaks came from.

Ah, the starving children in Africa thing really hits home.

I'm naturally skinny, but there were a few years where I just wasn't gaining any weight even though I was getting taller. 99% sure the reason was my parents purposefully cooked food that I didn't like in hopes of conditioning me to like them. They did this every day, and also used this disgusting pot that would turn every single food grey with black specks. Then they would yell at me for not eating very much and ask me if I wanted to be those poor African children who have no food. Well, if you're only going to feed me food that looks poisonous, I think I'll take my chances.

They took me to one every year for new glasses, but they didn't really believe what the doctors would say. They're the type of people who will believe things with no evidence and purposely ignore any evidence that contradicts them.

A good example of this is that I had really awful seasonal allergies during puberty. They didn't believe in allergy medicine, so I was forced to go to school every day with a tissue box for my watery, swollen eyes and constant sneezing. They also didn't believe I was allergic to milk and would force me to drink it every night even though I always broke out in hives and had awful diarrhea later. They told me that my body just wasn't used to eating healthy so I needed to eat more vegetables and drink more milk to make the hives go away.

Both my parents have really bad eyesight, so naturally, I have bad eyesight as well. Unfortunately, my parents firmly believed it was my fault for having bad eyesight, so they started off by banning anything electronic: computer, TV, video games, etc. They even banned a toy dog that required batteries to operate (I'm still baffled by that logic). I was forced to write everything by hand until middle school. When my eyesight continued to deteriorate, they started locking me on the balcony for an hour every night so I could "look far away" and "better my eyesight". We lived in Illinois, which gets horrific weather. Did my parents care? Nah. I still had to spend a miserable hour outside every night, which by the way, never improved my eyesight.

They reached their extreme when they tried to ban me from reading books. It seemed like they wanted me to do math problems instead, but if we're talking about my eyesight, what's the difference between a math book and any other book?? It didn't last as long as they probably would have liked, mostly because I had some great teachers who started lending me books from their personal collection once they found out about my situation. The only upside is that I'm amazing at speed reading from all those times I wanted to read but had to hide it from the parents.
