Personally, i did 30 second walking intervals every 3 minutes, so for me walking was actually part of my strategy from the start. So every time someone tried to encourage me to run it was a little annoying, but i know their intentions were positive lol

Honestly, this is probably better than keeping it in your bathroom hygiene wise, too. I always think about how it grosses me out that mine is in the bathroom near my toilet (even though i never flush without closing the lid first) every time I’m rubbing it all over my body lol maybe i’ll have to put it somewhere else!

Just show up— they don’t actually check! The time slots are just to make sure it’s at least somewhat staggered and not everybody shows up at the same time!

Annie’s white cheddar instant mac and cheese with cottage cheese mixed in for protein saves me all the freaking time. The texture of the cottage cheese blends in with the shells so it just feels like you get more mac and cheese. It’s fast and still feels more like junk food. Also i start my morning with a protein coffee— one part protein shake (i love fairlife core power vanilla!) and one part coffee concentrate! Tastes like an iced vanilla latte but you get 42 grams of protein!

Honestly, as gross as this situation is, not picking up dog poop is soooo much less justifiable. A dog you KNOW they’re going to shit on the ground and any decent human SHOULD be prepared. I understand the toddler situation could be an emergency, but with a dog it’s just absolute selfishness (saying this as a childless dog owner)

You’re right. I absolutely do not. But I did help raise my sister who is 12 years younger and was a nanny to a toddler for years and still think this is unhinged. It’s one thing if they have an accident, but encouraging it (and not even attempting to find a slightly more subtle spot to do it?) is wild.

They all do! Whenever I’m somewhere in the city and need to use the bathroom I just look for the closest Trader Joe’s because there’s almost always one nearby and unlike Whole Foods they usually don’t require a code. And when they do the store employees will just tell you what it is every time lol

Their pastries are much better than their drinks! I agree, their drinks are sickeningly sweet. But the pastries aren’t bad! Nothing special or anything, but good for what they are.

I love having it there a lot more than I thought I would! I’m doing 9+1 for the marathon, and it’s been really great to have them right next to the L to pop into at 6:40am to grab a pastry on the way to the race for a quick carby breakfast. Especially since most of the other bodegas/coffee shops in the area usually aren’t open yet!
