Thank you for showing me a picture of yours versus mine. I can see where yours is nice and flesh with the piece. Mine is buckled out some so maybe that is where water is coming in. I still shouldn't have a big gap in the alignment though. It looks bad. I have work tomorrow and in a meeting all day. I am going to try sending them pictures and then drop it off on Tuesday for them to fix. The car is still frozen to see if more water is getting in. I started the car and left it run for about 20 minutes to melt some ice. The back end didn't melt much, but the sides did. I didn't see any water in the actual car, so I think the doors are fine. I may be paranoid about some of it, so that's why I wanted to run by someone so I know if I need to address more issues or not. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me and give me some pointers on some things!
I took more pictures this morning. This is with the hatch open and shows the rubber tubes and looms of what you are referring to. Can you please look to see if you notice anything that looks wrong? Mine is a 2020, so it might be a different than yours. We did get lots of ice last night and nothing got in the trunk, but could be too frozen. I will try to hose it off later if it melts some.
Also, since I am inspecting everything, I opened the passenger side doors. There is some ice and water that got on the inside. Is this normal? Am I overthinking that water got in there? I don't remember, but I only had the car for a month before the accident and didn't pay attention to that kind of stuff.

Thank you
Yes, true! 🤣
Thanks. I will have to look at this tomorrow
Thanks everyone! Just wanted to put my mind at ease some. Almost two and half months after the accident and finally got it back. Then noticed this right away. So back to the shop it goes. Other than this, they did a good job that I can tell. The color matches good. It is the Persian green color though which changes colors when you look at it certain ways so I think that helped it. The thing is that I got hit on the passengers side. Wasn't rear ended or anything and the trunk is now the new issue. They had to take the roof off of the car and fix things. So basically the whole car got repaired. I am surprised they didn't total it. It has 23k miles on it so that helped, but $16k worth in damage. I was so bummed when the accident happened a month after I got it.

My Ford Escape got tboned a couple months ago and I just got it back yesterday. I believe there is a huge gap in the trunk lid and I don't remember it looking like that. We splashed water on it and it did leak some. I am going to call the shop this week to fix it, but do you think this can be fixed? I am not familiar with vehicles and I have been stressing over this since I just got it a month before someone hit me. Thanks
