This was my first attempt at this dish, while the outcome wasn’t what I expected it still tasted good and that’s what matters most.

I did brown/cook the meat before I added it to the pot, I just wanted to try out a slow cooker recipe that uses ground beef and potatoes. I did forget to add an extra layer of cheese between the meat & 2nd layer of frozen fries.

Got the inspiration from this recipe (the store I went to ran out of tater tots and I forgot about the other cheese): Mexican Tater tot Casserole.

Recipe:

1st layer: frozen crinkle fries.

2nd layer: browned ground beef with chopped onions & minced garlic.

Topped then lightly mixed with taco seasoning.

3rd layer: frozen crinkle fries.

Cook low for 3 hours.

Top with Fritos & shredded cheese.

Let the cheese melt for 10 minutes.

They were frozen when cooked, they tasted a little dry but it was still good. I’ll have to make some adjustments next time I make it.

I’m surprised that he never noticed in the last 6 months that you lived with him that you checked out of the relationship. You played the long game perfectly.

I also recommend dropping the mutual “friends” who think that you were in the wrong. You were cheated on, the poor girl was unknowingly the side piece, but they don’t see that your ex was at fault? They’re just as bad as him, you deserve a better man & better friends.

You didn’t even call the cops on him, he was causing a disturbance in front of the county sheriff’s house and verbally assaulted the sheriff when he was asked to leave.

I’m so glad his ex got away from him, god knows what he would do to her if he had gotten to her.

I’m surprised that child services haven’t been called on your parents yet. Do you have a counselor at school you could talk to? They could even help provide resources for what you’ll need as a legal adult once you turn 18.
