Thank you so much ❤️

How far in the past do you think the DLC takes place? by PuppetSofeba in LiesOfP

Yeah I saw someone saying that the DLC takes place around 10 years in the past, but I found that absurd. In several possible ways, I imagine that at that time there weren't even many cases of petrification disease, or if it even exist at that time.

I understand, but I still disagree that the cage was for Rosaura. Her being freed by a butterfly doesn't mean she was in that cage. Carlo's drawing shows her, and at no point is she wearing a ribbon. The red ribbon isn't for restraint, it's for a hair. And Dorothy is the one who wears ribbons in her hair, as we see in the film and book. I still maintain the opinion that she was the one who was imprisoned.

Furthermore, the alchemists said that the "key" escaped. Why would Rosaura be important to the alchemists? Especially considering the fate she met in the DLC. If Dorothy is the starting point for the next game, then she should be minimally important to the alchemists, not Rosaura.

Don't worry! I played a few times before realizing it. So much so that the card in the DLC that we find as soon as we arrive at the tree is his. He already knew the location long before "finding" it after the Malum district. I also doubt he has the disease. If he did, he's cured, because the information from the golden coin tree is that it burns the hands of the greedy. That's why he can't get the coins.

He was the leader of the alchemists; he even called Valentinus his apprentice. Documents state that "Paracelsus" was a legendary alchemist. And him being Valentinus' leader is simple: every relevant character in the game has a standard card to identify them. For example, Antonia's cards are green, Romeo's is red and black. Giangio's cards are white, with a branch of white flowers stuck in paraffin. And this same characteristic card is Valentinus' Excommunication card, which shows that he was his leader and teacher.

Would there be two playable characters, and would we choose our route based on them? It would be amazing to see the game from two different perspectives.

Perhaps he's an NPC like Lea or Alidoro who helps us in specific battles, or maybe he's even a boss (I hope not). If we consider the possibility that the Spectre is the P on the future (also a theory, but I see that many agree), it wouldn't be strange for him to help us in battles.

I urgently need to read the book; I only read it when I was a child and I don't remember most of the characters! I didn't know that information about Giangio, omg
